Redfin CEO and leadership

Glenn Kelman has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer and as a member of our board of directors since March 2006 after serving in a number of executive-level roles since 2005. Before joining us, Mr. Kelman was the co-founder of Plumtree Software, Inc., a provider of enterprise portal software products, where he served as Vice President of Marketing and Product Management from 1997 to 2004. Mr. Kelman holds a B.A. in English from University of California, Berkeley. We believe that Mr. Kelman’s deep understanding of our company and his real estate industry experience qualifies him to serve on our board of directors.

As Redfin’s Chief Technology Officer, Bridget leads the software engineering team, which she has grown to more than 150 engineers in Seattle and San Francisco. Her mission is to build technology that makes the process of buying and selling a home less complicated and less stressful. She is a thought leader on issues facing women in technology, and nearly 30% of the software engineers on her team are women. Prior to Redfin, Frey was the director of analytics and business applications at Lithium Technologies. In addition, she has held management positions at IntrinsiQ Research, IMlogic and Plumtree Software. Bridget holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Harvard University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She was recently named to the Puget Sound Business Journal 40 Under 40 list.

Chris Nielsen is a Chief Financial Officer at Redfin and is based in Seattle, Washington. He has worked as Vice President, Home & Garden at AMAZON COM INC; CFO/COO at Zappos; and Manager at Accenture. Chris studied at MIT between 1994 and 1996 and Stanford University between 1985 and 1989.

Software professional with experience building teams and products from the ground-up in a start-up environment as well as driving enterprise-level development at Microsoft. Focused on customer-centric innovation that solves real-world challenges.
