About our Peer Services Program
The Peer Services program is an expansion program dedicated to outreaching and connecting clients to services for mental illness and/or substance use disorders. Our Peer Services provide support to clients using personal experiences to build rapport and engage in services that are offered.
What You'll Do:
Share lived experience of resilience and recovery and models successful recovery behaviors for individuals with a mental health diagnoses and/or a substance use disorder.
Link clients with support groups and other community resources, which may include connecting with health & wellness activities, finding and maintaining employment, or other activities that would support clients' recovery goals.
Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop and modify individual client treatment plans.
May participate and/or facilitate mutual support and education groups within specific ReDiscover programs.
May assist with client transportation, which could include transporting individuals in personal vehicle.
Safeguards Protected Health Information (written and electronically) and maintains confidentiality. This may include providing written documentation.
Requirements of the Position:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Will have to be willing to work Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.
A valid automobile driver's license, appropriate automobile insurance and a safe, reliable, registered automobile available for use during work.
Must have life experiences with a substance use disorder and/or mental illness and have received appropriate services.
Must have successfully completed the Peer Specialist training through the Missouri Credentialing Board (MCB) and successfully passed the certification exam. Individuals who are non-certified at time of hire may be given a specific timeframe to attend training and obtain initial certification.
Must also satisfy requirements for external community partners.
Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.
Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.

About the KCATC Program
The Kansas City Assessment and Triage Center (KC-ATC) is a comprehensive crisis and stabilization program serving the needs of Kansas City's at risk population. Employing a multidisciplinary staff, KC-ATC is a resource for Law Enforcement, Hospital Emergency Departments and Community Mental Health programs in the greater Kansas City area.
What You'll Do
Monitors clients in a safe environment, performing and documenting client safety rounds. This includes ADL monitoring and coaching (i.e. life skills, communication skills, community integration, etc.).
Facilitates structured activities with clients in accordance with their goals and treatment plan.
Demonstrates culturally competent respect for all clients, guests and staff through verbal and non-verbal behaviors and assists them as needed.
Maintains cleanliness of the program space.
Safeguards Protected Health Information (written and electronically) and maintains confidentiality. This may include providing written documentation, scanning and/or uploading records into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This may also include requesting and/or releasing client information or medical records.
Requirements of the Position
Availability to work a Part-time schedule (16 hours per week) Saturday and Sunday 7:00am-3:30pm.

About the Programs
ReDiscover offers several programs geared toward crisis services, including the Kansas City Assessment & Triage Center (KC-ATC) and the Behavioral Health Urgent Care Clinic (BHUCC). KC-ATC is a comprehensive crisis stabilization program serving individuals at risk throughout the Kansas City area. It works closely with law enforcement, hospital emergency departments, and community mental health providers to provide timely, coordinated care. The BHUCC, a separate program and location, is the first of its kind in the region, offering immediate, same-day access to psychiatric medication services for individuals experiencing mental health and substance use concerns. Both programs operate seven days a week to meet community needs.
Crisis services also include the Hospital Diversion Program and our Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The Hospital Diversion Program helps individuals access care in the most appropriate setting, reducing emergency department visits, hospitalizations, and involvement with law enforcement while promoting stability and independence. The PHP and IOP provide short-term outpatient treatment for acute stabilization, offering intensive individual and group therapy over 1-3 weeks using a client-centered, evidence-based approach to support recovery and long-term stability.
What You'll Do
Provide strategic and operational leadership for behavioral health crisis centers, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed, and person-centered crisis services.
Oversee day-to-day operations, including staffing models, workflows, policies, and procedures.
Lead implementation and continuous improvement of crisis programs aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with healthcare systems, emergency services, law enforcement, and community organizations to ensure that the services provided are of the highest quality, accessible in a timely fashion, and produce positive outcomes for those we serve.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, licensing standards, accreditation requirements, and contractual obligations.
Analyze program data and outcomes to drive performance improvement, service expansion, and resource optimization.
Supervise, mentor, and support program leadership staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
Requirements of the Position
Master's degree in psychology, social work, psychiatric nursing, counseling, or other related mental health fields that would qualify for licensure in the State of Missouri.
Must have a valid clinical license in the State of Missouri (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PMHNP).
At least five (5) years of clinical experience in a direct service provision to adults and/or children in a mental health setting is required.
At least three (3) years of supervisory and management of mid-level employees experience is required.

About the Women & Children's Program
The Women & Children program is a voluntary, collaborative program that strives to empower women to build resources and personal skills to break the barriers that come with addiction as individuals, family members, and members of their local community. This program offers residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, day care services for children under 12, individual and group therapy, case management, peer support services, psychiatry and medicated assisted treatment.

WHAT WE DO
Our Community Support Specialists function as case managers to provide individuals with support to live an independent life in the community. Through a variety of multidisciplinary services that clients can choose from including medication management, therapy, group therapy, health and wellness support, employment services and transportation support, clients can develop skills, access resources and learn ways to manage their emotional and physical health.
At ReDiscover, while every day is different, a typical day may include the following roles and responsibilities:
Maintain and interact with a caseload of clients with diverse characteristics either in-person or over the phone.
Facilitate each client's achievement of long range outcomes of symptom management, employment and independent living based upon the needs of the client.
Engage difficult to serve clients by investigating all potential resources in order to gain access and make connections.
Help remove barriers for clients, which may include helping clients participate in community or social service programs and referring clients to educational or working programs.
Assist clients with transportation barriers as identified in their treatment plan. This includes transporting clients in the employee's personal vehicle to various appointments and area resources.

Qualifications

About the Women & Children Program
The Women & Children program is a voluntary, collaborative program that strives to empower women to build resources and personal skills to break the barriers that come with addiction as individuals, family members, and members of their local community. This program offers residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, day care services for children under 12, individual and group therapy, case management, peer support services, psychiatry and medicated assisted treatment.
What You'll Do
Monitors clients in a safe environment, performing and documenting client safety rounds. This includes ADL monitoring and coaching (i.e. life skills, communication skills, community integration, etc.).
Facilitates structured activities with clients in accordance with their goals and treatment plan.
Demonstrates culturally competent respect for all clients, guests and staff through verbal and non-verbal behaviors and assists them as needed.
Maintains cleanliness of the program space.
Safeguards Protected Health Information (written and electronically) and maintains confidentiality. This may include providing written documentation, scanning and/or uploading records into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This may also include requesting and/or releasing client information or medical records.
Requirements of the Position
Availability to work a Saturday & Sunday schedule (16-hours per week) 7:30am to 4:00pm
All new hires are required to attend a one-week ReDiscover orientation as part of the onboarding process.
High School Diploma or GED.
A valid Missouri Class E automobile operator's license (or equivalent license in another state).
Must carry all appropriate insurance on the vehicle being driven, necessary to comply with Missouri or Kansas State Law.
Working knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.
Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as the use of email.

About the Health Care Home Program
Our team promotes preventive care, healthy living, and health education for clients and staff alike. As a Nurse Care Manager, you'll be at the heart of client wellness, supporting individuals with chronic conditions and behavioral health needs.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop client-centered wellness plans
Conduct health and metabolic screenings (quarterly or annually)
Provide outreach calls to engage and support clients
Lead health and wellness education sessions and group activities
Monitor hospital admissions/discharges and coordinate medication reconciliation
Partner with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
Track and assess performance measures related to physical health
Occasionally (up to 25%) meet clients in the community or in their homes
Requirements of the Position
Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Active, unrestricted Missouri nursing license. RN preferred.
Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a reliable vehicle
(Preferred) 2+ years of nursing experience in a mental health setting
Familiarity with mental illness and substance use disorders
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfort with electronic health records and intermediate computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and use of email)

About the CoEd Program
The Coed Substance Use Disorder program aims to help adults with a substance use or co-occurring disorder in an outpatient or residential setting. Through medication assisted treatment, paired with individualized therapy, group education, and case management, the Coed Substance Use Disorder program offers a well rounded holistic approach to client's needs.

Our Thrive Center is a short term mental health residential treatment program, diverting individuals from hospitalization. We provide intensive therapeutic services for clients, including clinical case management, therapy, group opportunities, and medication management.
