Duties and Responsibilities:
As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.
Typical assignments include:

· Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
· Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.
If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.
GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as:

There are no education substitutions for the GL-9 or GS-11 grade-level Border Patrol Agent opportunities.

Citizenship: You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position.

Primary Level Salary Range: $123,400.00 - $185,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Reviews Statements of Work for supportability requirements and facilitates cross-functional meetings with stakeholders to identify/define requirements and develop contract language.
Conducts technical evaluations of Contractor proposals and makes recommendations to the Project Lead and Contracting Officer.

The Geospatial Analyst I works in a team environment executing necessary geospatial tasks required to build data products that are both high accuracy and high quality. Responsibilities
Conduct workflow processes with a methodological approach based on Geographic Information System (GIS), CAD, and remote sensing technology. This may include the pre-processing of imagery, digitizing vector features, performing LiDAR classification, extraction of features from LiDAR, and assisting with metadata and project reporting.
Serve as a technical specialist, providing advice on geospatial standards, product generation, and geodatabase management.
Qualifications

BA/BS in Geography or related earth sciences field (additional experience may be substituted for education) is preferred.
0-2 years (3-5 if not degreed) of increasing technical knowledge in GIS, LiDAR, photogrammetry, Remote sensing, or surveying is preferred.
Experience with ESRI is required.
Candidates with experience in GeoCue, TerraScan, LP360, or TopoDOT will be given higher consideration.
Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment to execute geospatial workflows.
Strong analytical skills and experience solving geospatial problems is highly desired.
