  • Education :
    • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
    • Certificate of completion for 30-Hour Art and Science of Peer Assisted Recovery curriculum, or (CCAR) Recovery Coach Academy or equivalent required
    • Ethical Considerations for Peer-Assisted Recovery training or equivalent required
    • State of NH Certified Recovery Support Worker (CRSW) credential preferred; required within six months' of hire if not attained at time of hire
  • Experience : Minimum 2 years’ experience in harm reduction, social policy, social work, public health, or related field. At least 2 years of full-time, post-baccalaureate experience working with people who use drugs and/or people in recovery.
  • Flexibility. weekly schedule will vary and will regularly include Saturdays and weeknight evenings.
  • Knowledge of Strafford and Rockingham County communities is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computers and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn new applications

  • Working knowledge of addiction recovery modalities, and the ability to support multiple pathways to recovery and harm reduction strategy in community-based settings is required

  • Proficiency in Motivational Interviewing skills is preferred
