Manage and reconcile accounts receivable invoices and record payments. Maintain a comprehensive accounts payable system by entering, coding, and processing vendor invoices. Communicate with vendors regarding account balances and gather 1099 vendor information as needed. Qualifications: 1-3 years of experience in a related position or equivalent combination of education & experience. Proficient in bookkeeping, accounting work, and payroll processing. The assistant highway superintendent works for the highway department as a member of management. The primary role is to manage subordinate staff in accomplishing the objectives of the superintendent and vicariously, the County Board of Commissioners. The assistant highway superintendent will coordinate work projects, staff and materials on various job projects which are the responsibility of the department. Job Description Highway Maintenance Workers are responsible for ensuring the department's highways are kept safe and drivable for the traveling public at all times. This position involves working as a member of a crew. Duties may include, but are not limited to, performing roadway maintenance activities; performing roadside activities; installing and replacing signs, permanent traffic control devices, and pavement markings; maintaining and repairing guardrail systems; performing structure maintenance and repair activities; performing winter maintenance; maintaining and repairing department facilities and properties; performing preventative maintenance and equipment repair; responding to emergencies and other incidents; providing on-the-job training and work direction; providing temporary traffic control through and around work zones and emergency/hazardous sites; maintaining documentation; operating and using a variety of equipment and tools; promoting a safe work environment; and participating in public safety awareness activities. Check count sheets daily for the amount of meals that will be sent out to Manor, Plaza, and Meals on Wheels home delivery. c. Assist cook in sealing meal trays for delivery to sites. d. Aid is responsible for properly putting away walk-in refrigerator freight and assisting cook with putting away the dry storage freight. e. Verify with the cook that patients with special diets receive proper nutrition. f. Deliver patient meals to nurse's station and ensure meals are delivered to patients. g. Perform general cleaning duties to ensure quality food preparation. h. Prep will empty bathroom and prep side garbage at the end of their shift. i. Prepare fruit salads, vegetable salads, baked goods, and other prep work as directed on the menu. j. Dishwashing duties include all meal dishes as well as meal preparation dishes. k. Fill grocery lists from other departments. l. Stock refrigerator to ensure daily supplies are current. (ie. Milk, juice, jelly, salad dressings, butter, etc.) m.
