1989
Hiring a credit specialist, Reeds established credit standards for the entire company and centralized the credit check process. As a result, where at one time nearly 85 percent of Reeds' customers bought on credit, by 1989, the figure was just over half, close to the industry average.
1990
Mario completed the violin project in 1990 when he was 90 years old, and it publicly debuted in Carnegie Hall.
1991
He continued serving in the United States Army Reserves until June of 1991, when he left the Reserves with the rank of Major.
1992
But in 1992, the worst seemed to be over, as company sales grew by nearly six percent to over 53 million and profits by 13 percent.
Some 248 tons of gold was made into gold jewelry, eight percent more than in 1992.
1993
The gold jewelry was primarily 14 carat, and in fiscal 1993, the gold jewelry and semiprecious gems such as opals, amethysts, and garnets, represented over a quarter 25.9 percent of Reeds' sales.
1994
Reeds, with 71 stores, was also doing much better, with net sales of 67.3 million for the year ending in February 1994, and earnings up to 3.2 million.
1995
In fiscal 1995, sales increased 15 percent, to 77.5 million, and earnings passed the 4 million mark.
1996
Launched in 1996, Reed Learning became one of the UK s leading business training providers.
By the end of fiscal 1996, earnings for the first two quarters had increased significantly, and the fourth quarter accounted for only 67 percent of annual earnings.
With a strong United States dollar and low inflation, the price of gold declined, and in 1996, the demand for gold jewelry set a new record.
By the end of fiscal 1996, that percentage had dropped to just over one-fifth 20.9 percent of all sales.
1997
At the same time he improved the company's operations, applying more modern business principles. As a result, in 1997, Reeds was the only publicly held retail jewelry chain with stores located entirely in the United States to be profitable for 15 straight years.
1998
Established in 1998, Reed in Partnership was one of the first employment support service providers in the UK, with a single office in Hackney.

Although Harry sold the greenhouses in 2000, he continues to carry out his father s legacy through the operation of the flower shop on Austin Avenue.

Originally named Original Beverage Corp., the company reincorporated as Reed's, Inc. in 2001 with Reed as chief executive officer.

In 2003 daughter Eliane moved the business to Jackson Tennessee where she continues to produce reeds and looks forward to new and exciting ways to market the Maccaferri reed.
2004

The company reported 37.7 million in net sales in 2017 with a product line that year spanning over 100 stock keeping units SKU .
2018
As of 2018, the Reed's portfolio is sold in over 30,000 retail stores in the United States, primarily specialty gourmet, natural food, retail, and convenience stores and restaurants.
