The men and women of Electric Operations ensure the delivery of safe and reliable electric service to our customers. Electric Operations is responsible for every aspect of PG&E's electric distribution and transmission operations, including planning, engineering, maintenance and construction, asset management, business planning, restoration and emergency response.
Position Summary
Owns the command and control of planned and unplanned events on the electric distribution grid while leading a diverse team of system operators responsible for the monitoring and execution of outage response management who directs field resources (outage, emergency first responders) involved in work activities on the distribution grid. Travel to all DCC's in the territory will be required, on an as-needed basis.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
A reasonable salary range is:
Minimum Base Salary (California) $137,000.00
Mid Base Salary (California) $184,000.00
Maximum Base Salary (California) $232,000.00
Job Responsibilities
• Reviews the quality of unplanned outage work, and determines if work can be done with or without outages.
• Complies, validates, and reports measurements of outage management.
• Leads the team's day-to-day operations in support of the team and the supervisor.
• Schedules all work to minimize impact to end use customers and revenue.
• Supervises staff to accomplish results through effective recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management and rewards and recognition.
• Tracks and reports on status of equipment repairs for the critical operating equipment (COE) process.

Renewable Solar Inc is a rapidly growing Solar PV Engineering, Procurement, Construction (Solar ECP) company, currently managing a portfolio of over 200 ongoing PV solar projects valued in excess of $200M with a staff of roughly 140 personnel. Renewable Solar is seeking Site Superintendents with commercial solar backgrounds to support this growing workload.
Primary responsibility is to manage day-to-day site operations, supervising on-site activities to
ensure safety, quality and adherence to the project plan.
Core responsibilities include:
Lead and manage solar installation work on assigned job sites from mobilization to permission to operate ensuring all construction efforts are on time and budget.
Ensure RSI employees and subcontractors are compliant with all quality control and safety programs.
Review all plan sets and ensure all crews and foreman are operating off the correct plans as approved by the engineer and project manager.
Be the solar technical expert on site for assigned projects.
Submit requests for information as required.
Work closely with RSI Construction Managers to schedule RSI crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials.
Provide progress reports on the status of construction to the project manager and ensure on site foreman are submitting required updates.
Schedule required inspections by AHJ and utility company.
Scheduling final Construction/O&M walkthrough as well as calling in final AHJ inspections.
Review performance of all RSI employees on your job sites regarding timeliness and quality. Provide verbal and written counseling on performance.
RSI is a Team First. Be prepared to help where required to complete team tasks.
Compensation: Hourly Salary: ($32-$45)/hour base rate, overtime and bonus structure for high performance.
