1930

Founded in 1930 as Reedy Industries, PremiStar today employs more than 1,200 people, including over 900 field-based technicians.

Reedy Industries started at the height of the Great Depression in 1930 by Thomas “TJ” Reedy.

1995

Mike graduated from Illinois State University in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in management and quantitative methods with a focus on information systems.

1998

Andy began his career in 1998 at Arthur Andersen and is a CPA with a bachelor’s degree in both accounting and management information systems from Illinois State University.

2001

Gerry’s #1 priority, which is represented by the 5 National safety awards won by the Southwest Town/Parkway team presented by the MCAA/CAN. He has been Chairman of the Apprenticeship Education Committee for Local 597 since 2001.

2019

In 2019, Bill partnered with Audax Private Equity to help scale the company’s proven formula for success.

Previously, CJ was the president and owner of First Point Mechanical, which was acquired by PremiStar in 2019.

In 2019, the Reedy family sold the business to a private equity firm that aligned with the overall mission, vision, values, and culture of the organization.

2021

Andy brings over 20 years of experience across a variety of financial and operational disciplines to his role as CFO. Prior to joining PremiStar in April 2021, he was CFO of ENTACT, a company that performs environmental remediation and geotechnical construction services.

In 2021, the company partnered with Partners Group, a leading global private markets investment firm, to build the preeminent business in the market.
