Clark is seeking a Preconstruction Manager (MEP/Systems) to support our Atlanta office and our southeastern projects. The Preconstruction Manager's key responsibilities include supporting Project teams in developing and maintaining detailed budgets for MEP/Systems specialties primarily in the Preconstruction Phase, but also as needed in the Construction Phase. These budgets are typically produced at key design milestones and are maintained continually throughout the design process. The MEP/Systems Preconstruction Manager will also develop and manage relationships with MEP/Systems Trade Partners. At all steps, the MEP/Systems Preconstruction Manager will employ constructability and value analysis methods to assist the team in maintaining budget and making design decisions. The MEP/Systems Preconstruction Manager will establish and maintain Project specific cost data, as well as develop historical cost data and information on emerging MEP/Systems trends. General Business Knowledge Understanding of design and construction processes and related time frames Analyze and evaluate for completeness and applicability of a Request for Proposal, Basis of Design, Bridging Documents, etc. Evaluate and compare design issuances from Conceptual, to schematic, to design development through construction phase Evaluate Trade Partner proposals and make a recommendation based on best value Familiarity with specialty trade estimating standards and techniques Knowledge of MEP/Systems design approaches and concepts Comprehensive knowledge of MEP/Systems and components General Familiarity with Plan Check Procedures and time frames Administer MEP/Systems Trade preconstruction contracts Essential Responsibilities Collaboration with other trade managers/estimators and our Trade Partners to develop a complete project cost Leverage their knowledge base and experience to collect and analyze cost data, identify options, provide recommendations and solutions to budget and design issues as they arise Identifies project needs and presents/recommends these problem resolutions to the team Performs research and analyzes the design data and quantity take offs related to MEP/Systems Provide expertise to ensure alignment between an established Basis of Design, construction standards, material standards, Code requirements and schedule Assist the design team with designing technical solutions to accommodate design development or other client needs within the budget constraints Proactively and continuously seek to identify new approaches to their work, and to improve by developing better, faster, more innovative and efficient ways to complete activities and tasks Participate in review and evaluation of new software, tools and technology. Specific Tasks and Duties Produce complete cost estimates based on Project Documents Coordinate scope of work with other trade managers/estimators to eliminate “scope-gap” Fill in missing components using parametric data, conceptual budgeting rules of thumb and data utilizing historical data and input from our Trade Partners Establish baseline for MEP/Systems estimates, identifying and comparing key project metrics Maintain and track MEP/Systems budgets from concept through Construction documentation, including cost updates incrementally during design development Assemble and maintain MEP/Systems Cost Databases at line item or component level Maintain MEP/Systems Cost Database for project level for various Building types Perform constructability and code compliance reviews Lead value-analysis efforts for MEP Trades. The VDC Manager I will assist in implementing and managing Landmark's VDC program. This role will participate in developing strategic direction and implementation for Landmark Construction regarding the use of construction-related technology and other technical services including, but not limited to, BIM technology and project management processes. This position participates in the development, implementation, and support of strategies and initiatives of the construction operations team. Reports to: Senior VDC Manager Direct Reports: None Duties/Responsibilities: The duties listed below are an outline of the role's responsibilities and should not be considered an all-inclusive list. As the needs of the organization change, these duties may be modified as needed. Implement the BIM execution plan on new projects. Resolve BIM related issues in contract documents. Work alongside project teams to understand project requirements, client expectations, and governing building codes/standards to create, maintain, and deliver reliable and compliant BIM designs. Set up projects in Revit, Glue, and Navisworks systems. Detect clashes in the model. Update Procore RFI/Observations. Complete a weekly review of these with project team and ensure any new items are entered and tracked to completion. Create and deliver completely coordinated federated model for viewing at weekly meetings. Lead teams in resolving critical design conflicts and coordination issues. Collaborate with design, trade partners and project teams to successfully deliver coordinated 3D models on projects within scheduled timeframes. Resolve conflict issues and design related RFI's prior to 100% construction documents. Lead weekly BIM Coordination meetings with the design and subcontractor teams, including prepare reports, update dashboards, prepare documents (i.e. mark-ups, screen shots), maintain and distribute meeting minutes, and track action items. Lead the design coordination meetings and update reports with status of each action item. Establish and manage LOD requirements to completion at each plan progression. Establish and maintain detailed modeling requirements through clash analysis and other means necessary to allow for the accurate creation of BIM designs consistent with project criteria. Lead the transition from Design to Construction coordination, including: Prepare subcontractors for project Ensure that any contract with Landmark Construction's preferred consultant is in place. Review BIM execution plan requirements with sub's in-house BIM team if they are not using Landmark Construction's preferred consultant. Ensure the BIM language included in contracts has been agreed to by all parties. Assist with preparation of coordination schedule for project. Ensure BIM design and construction coordination schedules are tracking in line with project schedule and report any slippage to the project team. Prepare models for easy viewing on iPads for field operations. Coordinate and resolve field issues with sub-contractors. Provide support to field teams post-coordination. Research and develop new ways to utilize technology and model-based information throughout the lifecycle of projects. Train and develop field employees and teams in the use of VDC on projects. Serve as a point-of-contact and subject matter expert for all things VDC/BIM Monitor teams in the proper use of VDC throughout the life of the project. Implement, monitor and maintain VDC standards on all projects using BIM. Assist in growing VDC capabilities and increase the adoption of VDC across Landmark Construction projects. Position Summary: The Manager, Mitigation (Emergency Services) will be a strategic leader responsible for the overall operational, sales, and growth strategy of our emergency services divisions, including Water, Fire, Mold, Asbestos, Biohazard/Crime Scene, and other related services. This role is a key leadership position with full ownership of the division's profit and loss (P&L) performance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on manager with a strong background in emergency services, a proven track record in business development, and a deep understanding of P&L management. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Oversee all daily operations of the mitigation divisions, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to industry standards and company protocols. Manage and mentor a team of project managers, technicians, and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize workflow and customer satisfaction. Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Financial Management (P&L): Take full ownership of the division's P&L, including budget development, financial forecasting, and expense control. Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Drive profitability by managing job costs, maximizing revenue opportunities, and ensuring accurate billing. Sales & Growth Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow market share and revenue for all mitigation services. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, insurance adjusters, and business partners. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including commercial accounts and strategic partnerships. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote services and build brand awareness. Technical Expertise & Compliance: Maintain a deep understanding of industry best practices, certifications (e.g., IICRC), and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, EPA). Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Stay current on new technologies, equipment, and methodologies in the restoration and mitigation industry. Qualifications: Proven experience in a leadership role within the emergency services or restoration industry. 5 Years of Management and People Leadership 5 Years in a Supervisory Capacity in the Restoration Industry 5 Years experience with P&L Management High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma Demonstrated experience in managing a full P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Strong business development and sales background with a track record of driving revenue growth. In-depth knowledge of water, fire, mold, and other mitigation services. IICRC certifications (e.g., WRT, ASD, FSRT) are highly preferred. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
