Job Summary:
We are hiring a Level 3/ 4 Lead DC Power Technician for the Critical Infrastructure Team. The new hire will plan and coordinate installation workloads, assign jobs, direct, instruct and assist equipment installer with installation of equipment. Work will be performed without supervision and instruction. Must have longstanding experience with installation and cabling of AC and DC power equipment including BCDBB's, BDFB's, and UPS Systems.

What You Will Need
Have a minimum of 6 years' experience or equivalent as determined by the installation supervisor, CI manager and Maicom management, and/or completed the Maicom training process and demonstrated to the management team, upon request, proficiency in the installation testing and turn-up of DC power systems, inverter, Batteries, the installation of Iron work, equipment cabinets, BDCBBs, BDFBs and related hardware.
Hold current training certificates from each manufacture of equipment that is being installed
Maintain a yearly update of the manufacture's training or as required by the manufacture
Hold a certificated of completion from a training facility providing a appropriated curriculum.
Be capable of performing the same work operations/job activities as a Skill Level 3 installer without supervision or direction.
Be capable of performing as the Installation supervisor in-charge person.
Be capable of performing additions, removals and modifications on working equipment and circuits. All Level 4 work operations/job activities may include:
Circuit modifications
Software additions, upgrades or updates
Power transition work
Addition or removal of batteries

This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Position Description
Maas Energy Works (MEW) is seeking a new Remote Operations Technician to support and maintain the ongoing operations of projects throughout the western United States. These facilities are located on host dairy farms, where an anaerobic digester produces renewable biomethane gas which is processed on site and then either used to power lean burn piston electric power generators or is delivered into a private natural gas pipeline network operated by the company. Our operations team is split into office staff (this position) and field staff that work on the job sites.
Office staff's close coordination with company field staff ensures high quality outcomes for operations and good relationships with partners, and overall accountability. The role of the office staff is to remotely monitor and troubleshoot electrical generation equipment, biogas cleanup facilities, and biogas pipelines, including order parts and materials. A high degree of organization and systems awareness will be required for this position. Many skills can be learned on the job from existing experts, and the job has an opportunity for advancement.
Responsibilities
Remotely monitor and troubleshoot issues at assigned digester facilities and cleanup plants
Communicate regularly with Field Ops Manager and on-site operators to ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment
Travel to digester sites and cleanup facilities 2-3 times per month
Be an avid learner, and support ROM in the monthly operations reports
Requires extensive communication via email, text, phone

General understanding of internal combustion engines is preferred but not required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to learn customized applications such as MaintainX, TeamViewer, Intelimonitor, and various SCADA equipment.

The Plant Technician is responsible for the operation of all plant processing equipment and performing routine basic maintenance in a highly automated chemical facility. In the area of maintenance, Plant Technicians are responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance, basic repair, and cleaning of all equipment associated with bioprocessing processes. At times, Plant Technicians may be asked to assist Maintenance Technicians in more technical and complex maintenance procedures. Team members in this position are required to maintain knowledge of the process flow, computerized equipment, and be aware of hazards associated with the process as well as understand and execute standard operating procedures (SOPs). Continuous plant operation requires 12-hour shift work. Plant Technicians must be able to adapt to 12-hour workdays and be able to meet call-in requirements as needed.
Use your knowledge to maintain and operate all processes associated with the plant where required.
Perform maintenance and basic repairs of plant equipment and document these activities.
Operate the DCS (Distributed Control System) for the plant.
Safely perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
Follow procedures for plant start-up, shut-down, cleaning, and batching.
Maintain accurate and timely logs.
Collect and test quality control samples, interpret QA/QC results and make adjustments to optimize plant operations, timely and accurately document results and enter results into our data collection system, PI.
Assist in removal, installation, rebuild, and performance of preventive and predictive maintenance on all equipment associated with plant processes.
Help keep your plant clean by following the sanitation schedule and completing all tasks as assigned.
