Example Of What A Refrigeration Engine Operator does

  • Operate or tend auxiliary equipment such as pumps, compressors, VFD's, cooling tower fans, and sand filters.
  • Water sampling, changing recorder charts and taking a variety of different readings at various intervals.
  • Freeze fish, work on equipment, rebuild compressors & ice machine in 4 different plants.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, cutting torch, and some welding.
  • Set up and pump down of 100-ton to 225-ton plate ice generators, portable highside/lowside units included.
  • Operate and maintain plant engine room and 28 cold rooms - Maintain and service screw compressors ranging from 200 H.P.
  • Repair machinery an units Read gages and operate plant valve to insure proper operation.
  • Maintained pneumatic systems, electrical systems, gas equipment, HVAC and AC/DC systems.
  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair services for all hospital hvac systems.
  • Repaired and maintained the following Boiler's, ammonia refrigeration, air compressors.
  • Reset and operate PLC programs, for operation of motors, valves and other equipment.
  • Experienced in insulating, welding, electrical repair, mechanical repair, installation and alignment.
