As a Swiss Set Up/Operator at Regal Rexnord Cleveland, you will be responsible for set up and operations of the Swiss department and perform intricate and close tolerance machining of small, advanced precision components according to specifications.
Essential Functions:
Must be proficient in the setup and operation of all CNC Swiss equipment.
Must be proficient in blueprint or op drawing interpretation, geometric tolerancing and the mathematics required to perform the most advanced CNC operations
Experience should include knowledge of Mitsubishi controls.
Must possess the ability to use a wide variety of measuring devices to inspect components produced.

Key Responsibilities
Precision Machining: Independently program, set up, and operate a range of machining equipment to produce intricate parts with extremely tight tolerances, often involving exotic materials.
Multi-Axis Operation: Expertly operate and maintain 5-axis+ milling and turning machining centers to produce complex geometries.
Rapid Prototyping: Execute quick-turn jobs on both advanced CNC equipment and conventional milling, turning, and grinding tools, to support urgent R&D, Product Development and Engineering needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary subject matter expert in machining for the prototyping phase, effectively communicating with Process Engineering, Project Managers, Quality Control (QC), and R&D teams to ensure design intent and manufacturability are achieved.

* Understands how to select appropriate cutting tools for various metals. Understands how to determine speeds and feeds to obtain proper surface finish.
* Able to work overtime; typically throughout the week and occasionally on weekends.
* Safe operation of Forklift within a Machine Shop environment. Safe Over Head Crane operation. Adheres to all company EH&S & QMS processes.

Requirements:
