Duties: Primary: Collect & analyze vibration data on a variety of industrial equipment (motors, fans, pumps, gearboxes, etc.) Understand spectral and time-waveform components for identifying faults Perform bump tests to determine natural frequencies Perform cross-phase analysis to determine comparative motion and differentiate similar faults Perform infrared thermography surveys on low and medium voltage electrical systems. OJT is available. Collect oil samples on a variety of industrial equipment (hydraulic systems, bearing housings, gearboxes, etc.) Collect deenergized electrical test data on low and medium voltage motor starter circuits (resistance to ground, resistance phase to phase, inductance phase to phase, capacitance to ground). OJT is available. Perform analysis and technical reporting on the above, meeting time requirements imposed both internally and by the customer Schedule service calls with customers and maintain a calendar Safeguard and maintain all company equipment Physical Requirements: Be able to climb permanent ladders (up to 40 vertical feet), crawl, stretch, kneel, stand and walk for extended periods, at least 8 hours Be able to walk up/down stairs equivalent to 50-100 vertical feet. We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support and improve the reliability, safety, and performance of mechanical systems across our facility. This role bridges engineering and maintenance, focusing on equipment reliability, preventive maintenance strategies, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable on the plant floor and working with data, drawings, and maintenance systems. Summary / Objective: Performs general mechanical maintenance work in the Plant in accordance with DAIKIN and OSHA safety Standards and procedures. Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul installed and portable plant production and facility equipment, including rotating equipment, process equipment and other types of equipment as required for effective plant operation.
