Jim oversees the formulation, growth, and management of our portfolio of more than 428 shopping centers, totaling more than 59 million square feet, located in 26 states.

He was appointed to Vice President, Development Partner in 1984, and became Executive Vice President in 1988. He helped grow Regency’s business from the initial public offering of $150 million in assets in 1993 to more than $14.9 billion in capitalization today. Jim became Executive Vice President, Operations for Regency Centers in 2015.

In addition to his real estate career, Jim completed a successful military career as an aviator for the Florida Air National Guard, serving as squadron commander of the F-15 Fighter Squadron based in Jacksonville, Florida.

As an avid, private pilot, Jim volunteers with Angel Flight Southeast, providing air transportation for emergency organ transplant patients and financially needy medical cases. He also serves on the board for Daniel Kids Foundation, a Florida charitable organization providing support for abused and neglected children.

Jim earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from Auburn University. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, and member of the Advisory Board for the Bergstrom Center for Real Estate Studies at the University of Florida.

Lisa has been our President and CEO since January 1, 2020, and has been our President since January 1, 2016. From January 2016 to August 11, 2019, she was our President and Chief Financial Officer. She served as our Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 2013 to 2015. Before that, Lisa served as Senior Vice President of Capital Markets from 2003 until 2013. She served as Senior Manager of Investment Services in 1996 and assumed the role of Vice President of Capital Markets in 1999.

Before joining Regency, Lisa worked with Accenture, formerly Andersen Consulting Strategic Services, as a consultant and financial analyst for General Electric. She is a director, chairperson of the compensation committee and member of the audit committee of ESH Hospitality, Inc., an owner/operator of hotels and the subsidiary of Extended Stay America, Inc., and a director of Brooks Rehabilitation, a private healthcare organization. She is also a director for the Jax Chamber, the United Way of Northeast Florida, an executive board member of NAREIT, a member of ULI, and a member of the ICSC.

Lisa is a University of Virginia graduate and holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She has extensive knowledge of the shopping center and real estate industries. She has extensive experience in finance and capital markets, operations, public board strategy, and governance.

Before assuming this role in August 2019, Mike served as Managing Director of Finance since February 2017. From January 2013 to January 2017, Mike served as Senior Vice President of Capital Markets. Before that, he served as Vice President of Capital Markets and JV Portfolio Management from December 2004 to December 2012. He has been awarded the company’s highest honor, the Martin E. Stein, Sr. Award, which honors employees’ business acumen and ethical standards.



Before joining Regency in 2003, Mike worked with Deloitte & Touche LLP as Manager for Assurance and Advisory Services, supervising professional accountants providing client services in Southeast Florida.



Mike earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Florida in 1998 and received his M.B.A. in 2003 from Florida Atlantic University. Mike and his wife enjoy spending time with their four children and are avid fans of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
