As a key member of our HR Technology team, you will help to shape and support a world class digital employee experience for our people. In this role, you'll act as a core part of the HR Technology team working across a wide variety of functional HR domains and partner with our Technology team to help design, deliver and support world-class technology enabled HR processes
Our team partners closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COE), HR Business Partners and our HR Operations team, to understand their challenges and strategic priorities. We combine innovative HR process and operational support experience, with a strong appreciation of HR technology capabilities, to help these partners define their vision and business requirements. In collaboration with our IT partners, we provide the introduction, optimization, and business support of our key enabling technologies.
This role will require 4 days per week onsite at one of our Corporate locations in Sleepy Hollow, NY, Rensselaer NY, or Warren, NJ. This is not available for fully remote / hybrid work.
As a Sr. Manager, HR Technology a typical day may include:
* Partner closely with our HR COE and HRBP leadership to understand their challenges, business priorities, and associated prioritization. Provide strategic guidance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
* Armed with this knowledge, oversee the development of clear and concise business and functional design requirements. Lead the creation of a prioritized backlog and ensure smooth transition to IT Product Managers for solution design and delivery. Provide oversight for, as well as conduct user acceptance testing and ensure alignment with business needs. Partner with COE resources to ensure change/comms/training materials are updated in line with process changes.
* Drive successful business outcomes by applying advanced business analyst capabilities (strategic thinking, agile working, process design expertise, data analysis, critical thinking, problem solving, stakeholder communication, etc.) throughout project lifecycles. Identify and implement innovative tools to support workforce needs or extend the use of existing tools into new locations or functional areas.
* Oversee and provide end-user support for Workday (Core HCM & Security) and ensure processes support the resolution of queries in a customer-centric manner. Provide strategic insights from ticket management trends to inform training/communication strategies and continuous improvement demands.
* Manage the escalation process to Technology partners for any technical issues/incidents. Provide governance and ensure escalations are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders (globally and locally). Develop an intimate understanding of their key strategic and operational demands, translating these into actionable plans and requirements. Oversee the end-to-end journey of these demands and projects from idea to operational delivery to ensure key stakeholders are kept informed of progress.
* Partner with IT Product Managers, to ensure business and functional requirements are documented and understood. Ensure prioritized demands are delivered within agreed timelines and to a level of quality expected by the business.
* Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and thought leadership, to ensure that we are keeping an eye on the future and art of the possible with regards to all roadmap planning and delivery.

Purpose: Heart Recovery, a rapidly growing medical device company, is looking for a driven and results oriented Surgical Sales "Heart Team" Specialist. We are growing both our focus and device line-up in order to support Cardiac Surgeons and Heart Failure Cardiologists across the US. With our continued success, we are looking to expand our commercial team. You will work closely with our Surgical Account Managers and Commercial Sales and clinical team who will be responsible for driving growth across the US. Through our Impella product portfolio you will enable physicians and staff to recover hearts and save patients' lives.
You will be responsible for:
* Train, educate, and support combined CT/Heart Failure programs on the proper use of the Impella.
* Full customer immersion (ie. input on patient selection and subsequent surgical support) within 5.5 sites to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
* Device expertise and support on Impella to assist with the adoption of the full portfolio beyond 5.5 commercial launch responsibilities.
* Surgical implant and unit support readiness including training and education at existing sites.
* Internal collaboration with the Surgical Leadership Team, Training Team, Engineering Team, Marketing, Professional Education, Clinical, as well as with R&D.
* Participate in On Call support rotation
* Maintain contact with all customers to evaluate clinical and educational needs.
* Performs device training on full Impella Device line-up.
* Be a functional expert and provide advanced acumen on the durable, acute, and hemodynamic medical device landscape and best practices in the management of those devices.
* Cultivates close relationships with strategic business partners and key opinion leaders.
* Call point(s): Cardiac Surgeons, Heart Failure Cardiologists, OR teams, Intensivists, Perfusionists, and ICU/ Step Down Unit teams.
Qualifications / Requirements:
* Bachelors' Degree required; Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Surgical Physician's Assistant (PA), or Perfusionist licensure
* Direct (at the table) experience in Cardiac Surgery/Perfusion, 5+ years preferred.
* Direct patient management experience in one of the following scenarios: a cardiothoracic ICU caring for post-op tMCS (excluding IABP) or durable MCS (does not include experience as an Abiomed field clinical), or direct experience assisting in the CVOR required.
* Confidence, expertise and, familiarity of cardiac surgery and OR protocol is required.
* Willingness to travel/ cover multiple geographies required.
* Up to 50%-overnight travel may be required depending on territory.
* Previous experience with Abiomed Impella 5.5 required; other Cardiac medical devices highly desired.
* Ability to drive patient outcomes required.
* Conduct duties and responsibilities in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device industry required.
* A valid driver's license issued in the United States is required.
The base pay for this position is $125,000. The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.

AI Expertise
Proven experience leading AI and Intelligent Automation initiatives with demonstrable success stories
Strong track record managing high-performance teams of AI engineers
Familiarity with Responsible AI Principles and commitment to ethical AI solution delivery
Leadership Abilities
Proven track record of leading and motivating technical teams
Ability to foster collaboration across departments
Demonstrated success delivering results in complex environments
Communication Skills
Excellent ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Strong executive communication capabilities
Effective advocacy skills for AI initiatives and resource allocation
Business Acumen
Strong understanding of business drivers in the pharmaceutical industry
Ability to align AI solutions with strategic organizational goals
Experience translating business problems into technical solutions
To be considered for this opportunity you must have a minimum of a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field with strong focus on machine learning. 15+ years of industry experience in AI development and implementation. Experience leading large-scale AI projects, preferably in pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors. Deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agent Frameworks, and Prompt Engineering. Proficiency with Cloud AI Platforms and AI algorithms. Expert knowledge of machine learning techniques including deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
