    The National Recruiter will assist the recruitment team in coordinating and implementing a comprehensive recruitment strategy to generate leads for Regent University programs, resulting in increased enrollments across residential and online programs. Recruiting efforts will occur in the designated regional and national recruitment areas as assigned to increase lead generation, application, and enrollment rates. This role will serve autonomously as a point of contact for all traditional undergraduate (TUG) related recruiting and admissions events and processes and exercise discretion and sound judgment regularly as a representative of Regent University and the leadership within. Actively assist in carrying out recruiting opportunities as required including educational and career fairs, local high school visits, Homeschool co-op visits, church youth group visits, community group visits, local information sessions, and national conferences. Address questions and concerns of prospective students and parents throughout all aspects of the admissions process. Organize and implement information sessions, make public presentations, and gather leads for programs across all schools within Regent University. Work Location: Virginia Beach, VA Essential duties: * Regularly interact with key stakeholders, including high school counselors and administrators, community colleges, and Homeschool organizations that support enrollment into Regent University. Actions must be performed without direct guidance or immediate supervision. * Formulate, interpret and/or implement best operating practices while actively engaging with educational providers at all levels from primary education to post-secondary. * Attend all educational opportunity events within designated market area to generate qualified leads to Regent University. * Develop regular hours at educational institutions and Homeschool organizations within designated market area and exercise sound, independent judgment when generating and qualifying leads for the university. * Provide consultation and expert advice to the Enrollment Management leadership team regarding TUG student enrollment and retention best practices. * Hold local information sessions and make regular visits to high school student organizations, not limited to National Honor Society, JROTC, volunteer service organizations, and mission-aligned student groups. * Provide strategic guidance and outreach for matters of significance as they relate to traditional undergraduate enrollment growth and partnerships. * Acquire and maintain a knowledge of all Regent University undergraduate and graduate programs, financial aid and scholarships, transcript and credit evaluation policies, and student advising, especially as they pertain to undergraduate students. * Travel frequently to regional and national education institutions for the development and maintenance of partnerships, recruiting events, and Regent recruiting events. * Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and seasonal Key Performance Indicators. * Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Regular attendance and participation in university events - both with preparation and follow-up is expected. * Must analyze regional and national enrollment and retention trends and make on-the-spot adjustments to individual workflow to ensure attainment of goals. Make frequent outbound phone calls to prospective undergraduate students who have inquired and/or applied. * Maintain accurate data records throughout the admissions and enrollment process in applicable systems. Timely reporting of any problems or issues with software or procedures that inhibits ability to successfully complete job functions. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree highly desired, but will consider a combination of experience and education * Must be willing to travel extensively; regular overnight travel and same day business travel required * Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills; ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of students and educational leaders. From September to October, the moot court coach meets with Regent Undergraduate Debate Association (RUDA) members for two sessions of two hours each week. The coach works with RUDA student leaders to help prepare students for competition and determine team pairings. If necessary, the coach organizes an intramural competition to determine which teams will compete in regional American Moot Court Association (AMCA) competition. Between November and January, the coach is available to meet with teams that advance from regional to pre-national and national tournaments on an as-needed basis. It is highly desired that the coach will travel with RUDA teams to AMCA tournaments. The coach assists the RUDA faculty advisor in determining grades for GOVT 368 Moot Court, on a pass/fail basis, based on student participation in RUDA. Requirements: Education: A J.D. or a Bachelor's degree with two years of law school completed. Prerequisites for the Job: Experience competing in and/or coaching moot court.
