ITW regional controller job description

1. Lead, control and manage and lead the financial activities, transactions, and resources (people and processes) of the assigned region.

2. Ensure accurate consolidation and timely reporting of the region's financial information in compliance with ITW policies and GAAP.

3. Effectively communicate and coordinate the exchange of financial information to key stakeholders in region - explaining data to management to drive business decisions. Help identify specific problems of the business and provide assistance to the regional stakeholders in the analysis of day-to-day problems.

You will serve as Regional Controller for the Americas Region with primary responsibility for overseeing all finance functions in the region; oversee all regulatory reporting for the U.S. and legal entity control for all subsidiaries within North America and South America; and serve as a member of the Finance Regional Leadership Committee and the Jacksonville office management team

Your key responsibilities will include:

The Regional Controller manages and supervises the day to day activities of Project Accounting and oversees the financial position of their respective region.
+ Manages all aspects of Project Accounting for each project.

+ Supervises the accounting functions listed below:

+ AP Processing

+ Setup of all projects, cost codes, budgets and contracts

+ Oversee preparation and processing of monthly requisitions to owners

+ Reporting and tracking of Accounts Receivable

+ Ensure accuracy of cost coding and processing

+ Oversee weekly payments and approve for release

+ Oversee the tracking of the cash position of the projects
