The Regional Loss Prevention Manager (RLPM) is responsible for all loss prevention and safety aspects for stores in an assigned region. The RLPM protects the assets of the company utilizing existing Loss Prevention and Store Operating processes. RLPMs trains, audits for Loss Prevention and Safety compliance, and investigates internal and external theft issues.
Responsibilities

+ Assists with supervising personnel assigned to the region and managers organizational issues within the company operations

+ Develops, monitors, and interprets key performance indicators (KPIs) and exception based reporting to help reduce loss, identify trends and root cause in high shrink locations

+ Directs, recommends, and proactively communicates appropriate implementation of LP policies, practices, and initiatives

+ Conducts LP investigations, either in person or via phone, as needed

+ Performs LP and Safety audits on a regular basis to identify/correct issues that could cause the company substantial loss

+ Ensure field presence by routinely visiting stores and participating in field meetings

The Regional Loss Prevention Manager (RLPM) is responsible for the review, investigation, and reporting of theft, misconduct, criminal activity, and other malfeasances impacting or associated with Lineage Logistics Team Members, facilities, operations, vendors, and customers. The primary goal of the RLPM is to increase profitability through the reduction of losses, using training/awareness programs, detection/resolution strategies, and deterrent techniques.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Support operations in providing the highest quality or service in a safe, secure, environment for Team Members, products, and other assets through the development, implementation, and coordination of Loss Prevention Best Practices.

· Support Teams in protecting and securing Team Members, facilities, revenue, intellectual property, brand, and other assets at Lineage facilities.

· Conduct and/or manage investigation and response to issues and incidents identified which create the potential or have caused losses to Lineage, Lineage's customers, vendor partners, or communities.

Overview: The SNIPES Regional Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for the management and implementation of all Loss Prevention functions within the Mid-West to achieve maximum shrink prevention and protection of company assets. This position is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of Loss Prevention policies and procedures through compliance assessments, use of exception reporting and in-store training sessions. The SNIPES Regional Loss Prevention Manager will also be responsible for controllable lines to include shrink and stores cash handling. This position will report directly to the Director of Loss Prevention and generally has no direct reports.

The SNIPES Regional Loss Prevention Manager can be based in Chicago, IL or Detroit, MI.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute SNIPES Shrink Program to aid in the prevention of inventory and controllable losses to meet goals of assigned locations.
  • Drive shrink reduction goals for assigned area.
  • Assess high shrink stores to identify losses and make actionable recommendations to improve results.
  • Ensures that all internal and external investigations are completed in a timely manner that complies with all corporate and legal standards.
  • Collect evidence and case facts to substantiate liability to bring closure to an investigation.
  • Maintain appropriate confidentiality through internal investigations; partner with Store/District leadership, Human Resources and Legal to address and take corrective actions.
  • Implement prosecution and/or restitution procedures to return maximum restitution to the company.
  • Coach and train store leadership and associates on loss prevention techniques as well as identifying red flags with internal and external losses.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Store Teams, District Managers, Regional Directors, Home Office team members and Local/ Federal Law Enforcement, to build trust through fairness, honesty, and openness.
  • Effectively communicate Loss Prevention training and educational coaching for store leadership and store associates during store visits through the completion of the Loss Prevention Audit.
  • Work closely with Store teams to improve the areas of deficiencies identified during the completion of Loss Prevention Audit.
  • Ensure the effective utilization of physical security controls in assigned locations to prevent and improve inventory shortage and ensure associate safety.
  • Investigate ORC theft and bring to a successful resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field Criminal Justice or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years directly related, multi-unit Loss Prevention work experience.
  • Basic & Advance Wicklander & Zulawski certification required.
  • Advanced level of administrative and technical knowledge in retail loss prevention/asset protection.
  • Ability to integrate loss prevention, inventory shrinkage improvement goals with corporate and stores organization
  • Advanced knowledge of physical security (Burglar alarms, EAS, CCTV).
