Regional marketing coordinators oversee marketing activities in their assigned geographical territory. They research market trends and map competitors, collect data on the purchasing preferences of the targeted customer demographic and come up with marketing strategies to engage the widest possible range of prospective buyers.
Working in this position, you will design and implement advertising campaigns. You will oversee the creation and distribution of promotional material and track the results of the marketing outreach. You will assemble data and analyze it to predict sales tendencies, and assemble reports on marketing activities in your assigned area to present to your managers.
A degree in marketing, sales, or a related area is often a requirement of candidates willing to fill this role. As this is not a beginner position, experience in the field will also be necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be an absolute must. You will have to know how to lead a team and coordinate the work of people working under your watch.
