This role is ideal for a dietitian looking for flexibility, meaningful patient interaction, and the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic interdisciplinary care team. Schedule & Compensation Hours: 12-15 hours per week Flexibility: Choose the days and times that work best for your schedule Compensation: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour (based on experience) Additional Perks: Travel time is compensated at the same hourly rate, in addition to onsite working hours Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients at nutritional risk, following facility protocols and evidence\-based guidelines Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans to support recovery and optimize patient outcomes Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and families, focusing on disease management, recovery, and prevention of readmissions Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the care team to deliver coordinated patient\-centered care Ensure documentation is thorough, accurate, and timely within the electronic medical record system Monitor patient progress, reviewing labs, weights, and clinical status to adjust interventions as needed Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and serve as a nutrition resource for hospital staff Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian (RD\/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration Current\/active state dietitian license (or eligibility) Minimum of 1-3 years of recent clinical experience in acute or rehab hospital settings (required) Experience with enteral\/parenteral nutrition strongly preferred Strong communication, critical thinking, and time\-management skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams About RD Nutrition Consultants LLC We are a nationally recognized dietitian consulting firm dedicated to providing expert nutrition care to healthcare facilities across the U.S. Our consultants enjoy competitive pay, flexible schedules, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact in patient care.
