The Opportunity: Dietitians at Amae are a critical part of our patient's care journey, supporting their physical health as well as their mental health. Reporting to the Clinic Director, the Dietitian is accountable for assessing clients' physical health, and developing comprehensive health plans that focus on lifestyle changes across the physical-mental health spectrum - inclusive of diet, exercise, sleep, financial health, relationship health, and treatment compliance. What You'll Work On: Clinical Nutrition & Patient Support Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling to patients with severe mental illness. Implement behavior-change strategies, address barriers, and adjust plans based on patient progress. Support dietary and nutrition-led interventions in partnership with dietitians/nutritionists. Wellness Programming Lead daily and weekly group activities that promote light movement, physical wellness, and healthy routines. Interdisciplinary Care Coordination Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and care teams to share updates on patient goals, progress, and clinical considerations. Participate in research initiatives by implementing therapeutic dietary protocols (e.g., ketogenic interventions) and collecting outcome data.
