The Student Health & Well-Being (SHWB) Primary Care is seeking a **_Registered Dietitian (RD)_** to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to promote wellness, maintain current health, and/or intervene in acute or chronic illness by providing nutrition counseling and education to support Johns Hopkins learners' overall health, well-being and quality of life. The RD provides outpatient dietetic services and recommends appropriate medical nutrition therapy based on the diagnosis and health status of the patient. The RD documents nutritional interventions including plan of care in the electronic health record. The RD conducts programming for staff and learners in collaboration with campus partners. Requires thorough knowledge and understanding of Regulatory, Departmental, and Hospital policies and procedures pertaining to nutritional care, including nutrition screening, assessment, and reassessment; food-drug interactions; enteral and parenteral nutrition support; patient education; and documentation. Must demonstrate competence in assessing the nutritional requirements of patients across the life-cycle, including: neonatal (birth -1 year), pediatric (1-11 years), adolescent (12-17 years), adult (18-65 years), geriatric (65 and over), and pregnant / lactating patients. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of health-related services is required. Experience: One year of experience in dietetics and acute care is preferred.
