Job Summary Under the supervision of the Registered Dietitian Manager, displays a comprehensive knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diets; completes participant nutritional assessments and reassessments as needed; obtains participant food preferences and observes for adherence to dietary modifications; determines adequacy of current diet and supplements when necessary; conducts meal rounds and sanitation inspections; provides nutrition education to participants, caregivers, and Innovative Integrated Health staff. Essential Job Functions Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team (IDT); perform initial, semi-annual, unscheduled, and annual assessments of participants; and develops and implements the nutritional plan of care, including physician orders for special diets, for each participant. Undertakes corrective action while survey is in progress, if appropriate; works with other hospital departments to develop survey plan of correction, as needed. * Communicates issues, concerns, and opportunities for improvement to supervisor routinely.     RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a part\-time Clinical Registered Dietitian to provide a monthly visit in a Residential Care Facility! Join the team at RD Nutrition Consultants LLC! We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Part\-Time Clinical Registered Dietitian to provide vital nutritional care. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dietitian seeking a flexible schedule and competitive compensation. Schedule: Flexible Hours: 8\-hour per month, 1 short onsite visit to each sister\-facility each month, the rest of the hours can be completed remotely. Compensation: $40.00\-45.00 per hour depending on experience Travel Reimbursement: Paid at the same hourly rate for time traveling to and from the facility Responsibilities: Preform periodic nutritional assessments. Assist with menu development as needed. Review and approve menu on a semi\-annual basis to ensure it meets USDA guidelines. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance nutrition care services and patient outcomes as needed. Conduct monthly kitchen sanitation audits, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions to maintain a safe and sanitary environment. Perform other tasks as assigned and within scope of practice as needed. Adheres to all facility policy and procedure. Experience & Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program. Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Current state licensure\/certification (if mandated by the state) Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred). Experience with reviewing menus for facilities. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Possesses the ability to apply critical thinking to a variety of situations, assess objectives, develop and implement and monitor effective plans for improvement.
