We're seeking a compassionate and driven Registered Dietitian to join a dedicated outpatient care team in a full-time direct hire role.As a key member of the Diabetes Program, you'll provide one-on-one and group nutrition counseling, lead educational classes, and support community outreach efforts that promote healthy living. If you're passionate about improving lives through nutrition, this role is for you Responsibilities: Deliver individualized medical nutrition therapy and facilitate group diabetes education classes Support diabetes prevention and management through outreach, screenings, and culturally relevant community events Work collaboratively with healthcare and pharmacy staff to monitor patients with chronic conditions Collect and report program data while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance Assist with program planning, reporting, and quality improvement initiatives Qualifications and Requirements: Active Registered Dietitian (RD) and Licensed Medical Nutrition Therapist (LMNT) in Nebraska Strong communication and documentation skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Willingness to travel and obtain First Aid/CPR certification (if not already certified) Certified Diabetes Educator (or willing to become certified within 12 months) is preferred Prior experience working with Native American communities or programs is preferred Familiarity with IHS guidelines and public health laws related to tribal care is preferred Benefits and Perks: $62,400-$72,800 annually 100% employer-paid medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 7% employer contribution to 401(k) Generous time off: 12 vacation days + 10 sick days annually Ongoing CEU support and professional development opportunities Your New Organization:This is more than just a job - it's a chance to be part of a mission that empowers individuals, strengthens communities, and supports long-term health and wellness.
