Key Duties
Conducts a nutrition assessment for patients at nutritional risk per facility policies and procedures
Develops and implements an individualized plan for nutrition intervention based on nutrition assessment and evidence-based standards
Assess educational needs and provide nutrition counseling for individuals and groups
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in meetings and/or rounds
Experience with electronic charting, the Nutrition Care Process and writing PES statements to provide appropriate documentation for the plan of care
Works cooperatively with food service staff to ensure conformance to diet prescriptions
Demonstrates accountability for the proper use of patients' protected health information
Ability to perform work independently with minimal training

Current Registered Dietitian credentialed by CDR

CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and SMQT certification are required
Impact Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking a Registered Dietitian Health Care Facility Surveyor to fill an opening with a Quality Improvement Consulting Company and will work in a technically exciting environment supporting internal and external customers nationwide
Requirements of the Registered Dietitian Health Care Facility Surveyor:
Must have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dietetics
Must have successfully completed CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and passed the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT).
Must have at least two (2) years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve the residents of long-term care facilities.
Must maintain current licensure to practice as a Registered Dietitian
Demonstrated history of independent decision-making skills to direct and effectively manage the survey process.
Ability to set priorities independently and collectively in performing survey tasks.
Ability to openly discuss conflicts/controversy, and to seek assistance when appropriate to make decisions and resolve conflicts.
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time on a regular basis is required.

OPPORTUNITY
TCCH is growing and actively recruiting a Registered Dietitian to join our Care Team within the Pasco WIC, Behavioral Health, and Dental Care site. We are seeking passionate, driven providers who align with our values of Quality, Respect, and Service, and are eager to make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our patients through delivery of exceptional care. Our First Steps / WIC Program Registered Dietitians are focused on promoting healthy birth outcomes throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period. Our Registered Dietitians determine program eligibility, provide nutritional assessments for individual clients, and conduct home visits to determine adequacy and appropriateness of nutritional plan.

Requirements
Bachelor degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or related field, required
Current WA State Dietitian Certification, required
Current registration as a Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Commission on Dietetic Registration, required
Current WA State driver's license and proof of auto insurance, required
Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience, preferred
Expert knowledge of therapeutic nutrition, nutrition education methods, and competency in working with diverse clients, required
Expert at engaging and motivating clients to change nutritional habits and behaviors, required
Proficient in English and another language (Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, or other) preferred
Ability to travel locally, required
