Provides nutritional services for the facility's in-center and home patients as applicable in order to maximize the patient's nutritional status and improve clinical outcomes. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assesses patient's knowledge of diet and kidney disease and provides education appropriate to patient's learning needs regarding the relationship of diet and kidney disease and the impact on the treatment process.

Adheres to FMCNA algorithm and medical record policies.

MCW's Center for Disease Prevention Research (CDPR) is seeking a Registered Dietitian with culinary teaching experience and an interest in lifestyle medicine, disease prevention, and community engagement. This part-time role will support the launch of a new medical school elective course in nutrition and culinary medicine through CDPR's pop-up teaching kitchen at ThriveOn King in Milwaukee, WI. The primary responsibility will be to prepare for and deliver interactive cooking classes using a licensed culinary medicine curriculum for medical students.
Participation in this role will also include covered training toward the Certified Culinary Medicine Specialist (CCMS) credential through the American College of Culinary Medicine. This unique opportunity allows participants to both teach and learn, strengthening their skills as educators and practitioners of culinary medicine.
This position is ideal for a Registered Dietitian seeking a flexible, high-impact teaching opportunity to complement other professional work. This role is initially expected to require 1-2 late afternoon or evening sessions per week during a 4-6 week course period, plus preparation time. A mandatory hands-on training on the licensed curriculum (likely over a weekend prior to the course launch) will be required. This position may be staffed by one or more part-time professionals, with the possibility of designating a primary lead instructor and a casual/backup instructor to ensure coverage and program continuity.

Vista Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Dietitian to join our patient-centered care team. The Clinical Dietitian provides overall nutrition care to patients, ensuring their nutritional needs are met through comprehensive assessments, individualized care planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities
Maintain active dietetic registration, government-required credentials, and licensure, while meeting all continuing education requirements.

Provide care to both in-patients (hospitalized) and out-patients (community/clinic-based) as needed.
Develop and implement individualized nutrition intervention plans in accordance with the Nutrition Care Process.

Incorporate cultural, religious, and age-specific considerations into nutrition care.

Track and maintain clinical productivity standards, including accurate record keeping for scheduling and billing.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Completion of course work accredited or approved by the appropriate nutrition and dietetics agencies.
Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential.
State licensure or formal eligibility to practice dietetics in Illinois.
1-3 years of professional experience in clinical or acute care setting preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
