Oversee the safe administration of medications and treatments in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Provide direct patient care as needed, including emergency response and interventions. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures. Conduct rounds to monitor resident safety, infection control, and adherence to care plans. Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and concerns, ensuring proper follow-up and documentation. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes. Serve as the primary point of contact for night-shift staff, residents, and families regarding nursing concerns. Collaborate with the day-shift leadership team to ensure continuity of care. Communicate resident status updates to the appropriate staff members, including physicians and family members. *Requirements:* Current RN license in New York. Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building abilities. Ability to handle emergency situations and make sound clinical decisions under pressure.
