A few must-haves for this position:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed to practice as an RN in the state of MN. License is active and in good standing.
Prefer at least two (2) years of experience as a hospice RN and at least one (1) year of supervisory experience.
Able to travel within geographic area serviced by the office. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
CPR Certification
Some functions of what you would do in this role:
Plans, assigns and monitors the work of Hospice staff.
Hires, supervises, evaluates, motivates and develops professional and paraprofessional employees; oversees scheduling of assigned staff for maximum productivity.
Creates and assists in the development of recruitment strategies and orientation/on-boarding of new staff.
Leads Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) meetings and actively participates in facility and team meetings as needed and requested.
Contributes to business growth by presenting information, education and support to external customers and potential customers as requested, either directly or through coaching staff members.
Manages Hospice case load as business needs may require.
Provides educational opportunities and in-services to hospice employees to meet quality standards, agency policy and all regulatory standards. Advises employees of any changes or updates in the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.

Position Summary
This position provides general nursing support for the Adult Psychiatry Department in collaboration with the psychiatric providers and other medical staff to perform patient-centric, safe, effective, timely, and efficient patient care. Responsibilities include providing telephone triage services for the patients of four psychiatric providers, utilizing nursing assessment and intervention in that role, coordinating with psychiatric providers to address the triage calls, accurate and timely documentation, responding to medication refill requests, addressing prior authorization requests for medications, administering long acting injectable medications to a small subset of our patient population, and managing the tracking of things like sample medications and lab results. Additionally, providing coverage and assistance to the rest of the nursing team as needed, including being able to do vitals on patients seen in clinic, and providing support to the psychiatric providers in the clinical management of patients.
Minimum Qualifications
* Associate degree or higher in a nursing program
* Current Minnesota license as a registered nurse
* Minimum of three years of psychiatric nursing experience or triage nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing program
* Certification as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse (RN,C) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center
* Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations.
* Five years of psychiatric nursing experience
* Experience with Electronic Health Record systems
