Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse Provides IV infusion/ therapy in accordance with physician orders, performs 12-lead EKG, venipuncture and IV initiation, blood draws, cardiac and pulse oximetery monitoring, applies oxygen using the appropriate delivery system, administers nebulized treatments. Assists physician with management of critical patients. Assesses, assists with treatment of sexual assault survivor patients, completes appropriate report and documentation. Assist with transfer to appropriate SAFE facility. Assess and assists with the treatment, management and care of abuse and neglect patients, completes proper reporting, and documentation. Assess patient pain, reports findings to MD in the application of pain control techniques such as positioning, medication administration and/ or other non-medication involved techniques as ordered by the physician.
