Delivering around 250 babies annually, our unit includes seven private rooms, a three-bed triage area, and an OR for C-sections. Two of our labor rooms are specially equipped as natural birthing suites for mothers choosing unmedicated deliveries. Following birth, mothers and babies transition to postpartum/well-baby care, where couplet care is encouraged to keep families together. We occasionally support GYN and Med-Surg overflow patients, adding diversity to our care. Manage equipment and supplies to make sure the department has the tools needed to provide patient care and to ensure resources are used wisely.
Advocate and ensure participation in interdepartmental activities, focusing on process improvements and achieving hospital-wide goals, by participating in appropriate committees.
Evaluate timecards bi-weekly and departmental operations monthly for adherence to administrative, budgetary, and strategic planning goals.

Responsibilities
Manage hospice intake referrals, including initial clinical review and eligibility screening
Coordinate and facilitate timely hospice admissions in collaboration with physicians and clinical staff
Conduct or support hospice admissions as needed
Communicate effectively with referral sources, hospitals, facilities, patients, and families
Ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation and compliance with hospice regulations
Support care coordination across nursing, social work, chaplaincy, and aide services
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and clinical planning
Provide clinical guidance and support to field staff as assigned
Assist with quality assurance, census management, and operational workflows
Qualifications
Current Utah RN license (required)
Hospice or home health experience strongly preferred
