This position focuses on delivering culturally responsive, evidence-based therapeutic services through a secure, HIPAA- and FERPA-compliant virtual platform. Therapists will play an essential role in expanding access to care for students regardless of insurance coverage, immigration status, or language barriers. This position provides rapid, patient-centered medical and psychiatric care for adults experiencing acute behavioral health crises in a 23-hour stabilization setting. You'll perform focused medical/psychiatric assessments, clarify risk (harm to self/others), determine medical urgency, guide medical decisions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to craft brief stabilization plans and safe dispositions when appropriate. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide on-call support and responds promptly to calls from the crisis stabilization center 24/7, 365 days a year, when needing to consult for higher medical needs of a client. Although practitioner is on-call 24/7, these calls will not be for emergency purposes and will allow ample amount of time in-between correspondences via phone call or email. Perform urgent medical and psychiatric evaluations if needed (telehealth). Clarify risk related to harm to self/others; advise on the need for urgent medical evaluation vs. management in the unit; document clinical reasoning clearly. Collaborate with EMTs and clinicians to develop diagnostic formulations and short-term stabilization plans; identify appropriate community resources and levels of care. Determine medical necessity and appropriateness of mental health services. Maintain timely, compliant documentation and communication; uphold HIPAA and relevant privacy rules. Provide brief staff consultation/education (e.g., risk stratification, meds, de-escalation support). Attend once a month staff meeting. Job Summary: The Therapist works under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor/Manager and is responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, therapy, counseling, and support services for a diverse caseload including adults, adolescents, and families. Respond to mental health emergencies in a culturally responsive manner to support clients in a framework and manner that acknowledges their unique and intersecting personal and cultural identities. Identify appropriate interventions for clients in crisis, working effectively to access appropriate resources, and engaging community partners to develop an effective plan for supporting clients. Provide Community Psychiatric Supports and Treatment (CPST), SUD Targeted Case Management and Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS), and/or minor case management functions if needed. Serve as a liaison to coordinate, makes referrals, or arrange for appropriate community resources when needed, acts as an advocate for the client as needed. Actively participate in all treatment conferences and meetings for the clients; maintain ongoing frequent contact with other assigned OhioGuidestone professionals or outside agency professionals assigned to case. Accurately and promptly, document and maintain client and family interactions including, legal, financial, and clinical documentation within agency guidelines. Attend and participate in regular supervision. Maintain all required licenses. Exhibit positivity, flexibility, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required. Primary responsibility is to deliver excellence in quality Spa services to guests, visitors, and members in a timely, courteous and efficient manner. Escorts clients to and from treatment rooms, attending to any immediate needs throughout Spa visit. Assists in providing information to any inquiries and helps to coordinate all guest requests for services. Responsibilities and Job Duties: Maintain complete knowledge of Spa Services, Products and Fitness Programs. Maintain complete knowledge of Forbes, Chuan Spa, and The Langham standards and comply with hotel and departmental policies and procedures. Set up workstation and treatment room by following sanitation protocols and stocking with necessary supplies. Maintain cleanliness throughout shift by following sanitation protocols. Accommodate all guest requests expediently and courteously. Handle guest complaints by following the instant guest pacification procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction. Assists to maintain cleanliness of prep room/Spa/locker rooms/treatment rooms following sanitation protocols. Escort guests to and from treatments. Maintain cleanliness of Spa and treatment areas. Physical Requirements: Requires walking or standing to a significant degree. Ability to lift 20 lbs.
