About the position:
The Registered Nurse (RN) Case Manager coordinates all aspects of the patient's home care. You will interact with other medical disciplines as needed & provide professional care to the patient. Job Description:
The Floor RN is responsible for carrying out all geriatric nursing care, treatment and services in a professional and prescribed manner while providing a safe, therapeutic and hygienic environment. In this role you will be providing nursing care for infirm geriatric residents, overseeing and training staff in resident care and observing and assessing residents' behavior and physical conditions. In the event the Geriatric Nurse II (Floor RN) is the charge nurse, you will oversee the functions of all licensed staff on the unit as well as the Certified Nursing Assistants.

•Administer medication and perform treatments on an assigned unit, as ordered by the physician and within scope of license

Supervise paraprofessional and licensed professional team members.

Ensure that daily patient care and related office activities are conducted in accordance with applicable law and regulation.
