Qualifications
Responsibilities :
The RegisteredNurse (RN) will provide primary care coordination for patients and implement a collaborative care plan as prescribed by the physician and treatment team. Duties include: Assess mental health needs; develop nursing diagnoses, identify outcomes, plan and evaluate nursing care; administer and/or monitor the effects and side effects of medications and treatments ordered by a physician; to ensure safety and provide consistent therapeutic milieu management and crisis intervention strategies.
Job Requirements :
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing and or bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
Licensure: Current licensure as a RegisteredNurse in the State of Florida, BLS.
Additional Requirements: CPR certification and successful completion of restraining procedures training (Handle with Care) within 30 days of employment. Understanding of The Joint Commission (TJC), OSHA and state and federal regulatory requirements.
Must be able to prioritize workload and effectively multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Excellent listening and communication skills. Focus on providing high quality patient care.
