As a RegisteredNurse (RN), you will:
Provide in-home direct patient care according to the provider's prescribed plan of care (and nursing scope of practice) while closely monitoring progress/recovery.
Assess and document patient conditions and report changes as needed (vitals, blood/stool/urine, glucose, etc.)
Administer medication, insulin, and IV/fluids; documenting thoroughly.
Inspect and care for wounds, changing dressings and assisting with personal hygiene.
Assess patient for further injuries, infections, bedsores, etc. and deliver appropriate treatments.
Collaborate with providers, aides, and allied health professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
To qualify for a RegisteredNurse (RN) with us, you will need:
Education: Associate degree in Nursing (AND) or Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (AAS) required
Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice as a RegisteredNurse (RN) in the state associated with this position
Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification
Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations
Practical trach and/or ventilator experience preferred, not required

Ascertains all pre-operative (lab work, chest x-ray, EKG, H&P) work up, if applicable is in the chart and reports abnormal findings to the anesthesiologist and/or surgeon prior to the scheduled day of surgery
Reports pertinent pre-operative information to the O.R. nurse
Obtains and labels personal belongings bag and assists patient in proper O.R. dress attire
Registration form and pre-operative worksheet
Administers pre-operative sedation
An order always precedes the administration of medication
Allergies questioned prior to administration of medication
Intended action and side effects to medications are known
Medication is documented on Pre-Operative worksheet including does time, and method of administration
Functions independently in emergency situations

Proficient in accessing, and maintaining SPC/PIV/Midlines, CVAD (PICC/Implanted Ports), SCIG, phlebotomy and lab processing. Follows proper infection control measures.
Coordinates the planning for delivery of nursing care with the Director of Nursing and administers appropriate clinical decisions in the delivery of patient care. Proactively updates client/patients' POC, health changes, and other related incidents.
Demonstrates knowledge of age-specific differences in the patient population including physiological and developmental differences unique to each group.
Ensures safe care to patients; adheres to all policies, procedures, and standards, including time management, supply management productivity and quality of service
Willingness to travel within assigned geographic region. Flexibility to work alternate shifts on short notice and can be on call for field visits as determined by business needs.
Administers CPR and other emergency procedures, as necessary.
Qualifications:
Licensed as a RegisteredNurse through the State Board of Nursing required.
Home health experience preferred - Can perform assessments, wound care, medication management, infusions.
Minimum of two years medical surgical or critical care/ER experience preferred.
Minimum of one-year recent infusion experience preferred.
Proof of current PPD, current CPR- hands-on class required
Successful completion of the skills assessment specific to the areas of experience
