Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse
This is a fantastic role to continue your nursing career path and work within a setting that offers variety and rewarding challenges. You will have high-impact work by providing nursing services, training, and supports to address the medical or psychiatric needs of individuals with a brain injury, intellectual and developmental disability, a substance use disorder, and/or has an emotional or behavioral disability.
Monitor the health conditions of individuals served and ensure quality services are provided.
Administer medications and provide documentation as well as oversee and monitor staff members who administer medications.
Provide prescribed medical treatment by physician's orders and personal care services.
Conduct assessments, implement health care services to be included in each Individual Service Plan (ISP), and respond to changes of condition.
Provide training to staff members including universal precautions, infection control, and medication administration.
Serve as liaison and advocate with other medical and professional service providers as well as work with external agencies to coordinate services and ensure consistent treatment of individuals receiving care.
Provide training for individuals served with topics including self-medication, prescribed treatments, sex education/STD prevention, and smoking cessation.
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Nursing or related field, or state certificate
One year of experience working with population served in a nursing capacity
Current state LPN or LVN licensure for state of residence
Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance
Other certifications as required by state licensing regulations such as CPR/FA and HIV/AIDS certification, BBP, and ACT training
Ability to effectively communicate with staff, individuals served, and families

This role is ideal for a compassionate and clinically strong ICU RN who thrives in a high-acuity environment. The ICU RN provides close monitoring, frequent assessments, and autonomous clinical decision-making while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
• Collect and assess comprehensive clinical data pertinent to patient condition and status.
• Provide direct patient care using sound clinical judgment and evidence-based practice.
• Monitor critical vital signs and intervene in life-threatening situations.
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Manage treatment plans safely and effectively in an acute care ICU environment.
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, procedures, and treatment plans.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families throughout the care continuum.
Compensation
Hourly Pay Range (Based on Experience)
• $33.77/hour (minimum)
• $38.28/hour (approximately 5 years)
• $42.86/hour (approximately 10 years)
• $49.06/hour (17+ years)
Shift Differentials
• Night shift differential: $4.50/hour
• Weekend differential: $1.50/hour
Sign-On Bonus
• Day Shift: $10,000
• Night Shift: $15,000
Additional Information
• Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis
Requirements
• Active, unrestricted RegisteredNurse (RN) license for the position being applied for.
• Florida RN license or valid multistate compact license required (compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days of relocation).
• RegisteredNurse Diploma or Associate Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care ICU RN experience REQUIRED.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of employment start date.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 6 months of employment start date.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and clinical judgment skills.
