The Critical Care Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in a variety of critical care settings. Assistive devices, including balloon pumps, impellas, and temporary pacemakers, as well as invasive monitoring devices like SWANs and a-lines are common on CICU. The CICU typically staffs with a one or two nurse to patient ratio to provide critical care. The patient population ranges from adults through geriatrics. BCLS and ACLS are/will be required. New graduate nurses are welcome.
Job Duties:
The ICU nurse assesses and identifies patient needs and implements appropriate interventions for the patient. The ICU Nurse establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care; assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems; and performs technical aspects of care competently. ICU nurses must have strong critical thinking skills. The critical care nurse acts as a family and patient resource to guide them through all stages of the patient's critical care journey.

We're looking for dependable, detail-focused travelers with experience working in chronic dialysis clinics. Unlike working for agency after agency, with our travel program, you get to work for a company:

Minimum Qualifications:

• BLS certification from either AHA or American Red Cross required.
• Current, valid, and active driver's license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
