Position Overview: RN Unit Manager
The RN Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day nursing operations for their assigned unit. The Unit Manager also serves as a dependable and personable liaison between residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

4. Evaluate the resident and his/her records or charts, and discriminate between normal and abnormal findings in order to recognize when to refer the resident to a physician for evaluation, supervision or directions.
5. Implement and maintain established policies and procedures relative to restorative care. Must interpret the policy and procedures to the physician, resident and family members.
Qualifications:
Must be Licensed RegisteredNurse (RN) in good standing and meet all applicable Federal and State requirements
Must demonstrate basic nursing skills and knowledge necessary to care for the elderly and disabled
Must demonstrate leadership and supervisory skills
