Summary:
Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse, acute health care settings. (Department has scheduled staff to operate 24/7/365).
The RN accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
The RN delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
According to department policies and nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to patients.
Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.
Responsibilities And Duties:
Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual (30%).
Outcomes Identification/Planning - Based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems, documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs (30%).
Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriately determined intervals; as part of a multidisciplinary team, revises plan of care based on evaluative data (20%).
Leadership - Actively participates in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance (10%).

Position Overview
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Neuro Med-Surg / Telemetry RN for a high-acuity neuro unit. This role supports patients with complex neurological and medical conditions, including trauma and post-ICU care, and requires strong neuro assessment and critical thinking skills.

Patient Ratios: 5:1 or 6:1
Floating Required: Yes
Schedule & Requirements
Day shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Every other weekend and holidays required
Voluntary call available
Scope of Role
Higher-acuity Med-Surg/Telemetry patient population including:
Stroke and seizure patients
Post-operative neuro surgery patients
Level II trauma patients
Level I trauma post-ICU care
Additional diagnoses such as DKA, renal failure, and general post-op care
Required Skills & Responsibilities
Perform detailed neurological assessments
Manage post-surgical and higher-acuity Med-Surg patients
Drain management and post-op neuro care
Chest tube management
Groin site management post-interventional radiology procedures
Demonstrate strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
Document patient care accurately in the EMR
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
NIHSS Certification required
ACLS Certification required
BLS Certification required
Active Indiana RN License required
Prior Neuro Med-Surg / Telemetry experience strongly preferred

The Per Diem Mobile Research Nurse is a RegisteredNurse who will work per diem and has experience across multiple therapeutic areas with the ability to work independently and integrate well with the Nursing Solutions Group. With interest/expertise in Science 37's decentralized model of care delivery, the Mobile Research Nurse will perform delivery of care to participants as well as collaborate with brick and mortar sites, if indicated, for shared clinical trial implementation. The Mobile Research Nurse ensures the professional delivery of patient care in compliance with all federal and state regulations, Good Clinical Practice, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Compensation varies based on location and work being performed. The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $50-55 per hour. Employees may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses and commissions. The successful candidate's actual pay will also be based on qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.

Responsibilities
