This position is compensated at a flat rate, with additional differentials applied based on work conditions (e.g., shifts, weekends, holidays, etc.).
Qualifications:
Education:
As required by licensure.
BSN or degree in progress strongly preferred.
BSN may be required for specific assignments; experienced RNs without a BSN may be hired based on clinical experience with approval of the site CNO.
Experience:
Three years registered nursing experience required.
Additional clinical experience requirements may vary dependent upon the specific department in which the position is utilized:

About the Position
We have an opening for a Psychiatric Registered Nurse to work on-site in our Portland area residential programs in Portland, Oregon! The nurse consults with program administrators, staff, and providers as needed. They will complete medication training for staff and be responsible for approvals to pass medications. In addition, they will be in charge of reviewing certain facility operations for staff such as; Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) assessments, emergency medication protocols, measuring vital signs, and facility guidelines for general medical care. The Psychiatric Registered Nurse will support facility intakes, clarify medication orders, and assist with referral packets. They will serve as a liaison between administrators and prescribers for both psychiatric and limited medical needs The Psychiatric Registered Nurse will have an office at our Portland Service Center, and also have in-person duties at several different facilities at varying times and days. Therefore, the ideal candidate would be able to schedule their time effectively to appropriately cover their assigned residential facilities. This is a unique and rewarding position with both direct care obligations, as well as oversight responsibilities.

*** Please note, it's common for travelers to float to other units based on their skill sets
AYA Healthcare professionals may be required to float to other units and facilities in order to meet the needs of PH&S.
Facilities:
Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent
*Note for Seaside floating only - If your traveler is booked to a non-Seaside facility and asked to float to Seaside, they will receive + $5/hr incentive for hours worked at Seaside in addition to IRS Mileage reimbursement.
If floating consecutive shifts, they will be additionally offered a hotel.
Facility agrees to give as much notice as possible when floating to Seaside.

Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse
We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.
Key Details:
Unit: Cath Lab
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:30 - 18:00)
Years of Experience Required: 1 year
Charting System: Epic
Call Required: Yes, weekdays and weekends
Weekend Shifts per Contract: 3-4
Orientation Hours: 40
Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
Daily Patient Census: 21
Number of Rooms: 7
Facility Types: Short Term Acute Care
Total Staff Beds: 536
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic and interventional catheterizations.
Administer and monitor procedural sedation.
Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab setting.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
Float between units as needed, based on skill sets and unit demands.
Qualifications:
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS*
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a Cath Lab setting. First-timers are welcome.
Special Skills: Knowledge in Diagnostic and Interventional Catheterizations, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring.
Patient Ratios: 1:4 during the day; 1:4 during night shifts.
Location:
Positions available in the following cities: Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent, OR.
Additional Notes:
Candidates must have a vehicle to commute for this assignment. Floating to different units is common based on patient care needs. Incentives are offered for shifts worked in Seaside, along with mileage reimbursement.
