As the Clinical Director, you will oversee and direct the patient care operations of the home care facility. This includes: coordinating and completing assigned projects to effectively support the immediate and long range objectives of the company; oversight of the eligibility of patients referred to home care services, planning for the services to be provided to patients and supervising their total home health care; implementing and maintaining administrative practices, agency philosophy, goals, and policies which assure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations; enhancing the profitability of the agency; and providing motivation and retention of a qualified staff and assure the quality of services delivered. This position also acts as a liaison with management staff and other departments throughout the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinates and completes assigned projects to effectively support the immediate and long-range objectives of the company
Oversees the eligibility of patients referred to home care services, planning for the services to be provided to patients and supervising their total home health care
Implements and maintains administrative practices, agency philosophy, goals, and policies which assure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
Enhances the profitability of the agency; and providing motivation and retention of a qualified staff and assure the quality of services delivered
All CMS and state regulations must be followed regarding supervision of nursing services
If Clinical Director is not an RN, Executive Director/Administrator or Patient Care Manager must be designated as supervising RN for nursing services unless state regulations dictate otherwise

Required Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice or PT/OT/SLP, must have current applicable license in the state
Current CPR certification
Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience in home health setting or related healthcare setting
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Able to work independently
Good communication, writing, and organizational skills
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this BSN preferred.
Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment.
Must be able to take emergency calls after hours, up and including nights and weekends, as needed.
Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a supervisor in a healthcare

Perform administrative duties as Director of Nursing, including employee performance evaluations, maintaining ongoing nursing competencies, and completing required reports.
Assist the Administrator with the nursing budget and provide recommendations and maintain the budget.
Determine the staffing needs and work assignments of the nursing department necessary to meet the total nursing needs of the residents.
Provide leadership training that includes the administrative and supervisory principles essential for Resident Care Managers and Charge Nurses.
Develop and maintain effective job specific orientation for nursing services and plan/facilitates in-service training for nursing service department.
Participate in state and federal surveys of the facility; assist the Administrator in reviewing deficiencies and developing plans of correction.
Collaborates with the Medical Director to assure quality of care.
Attend continuing education programs to remain current on Director of Nursing / RN best practices and regulatory changes; provide leadership for nursing in-service education.
Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment.
Director of Nursing (DNS) / RN Qualifications:
Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in this state; BSN preferred.
Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment.
Must be able to take emergency calls after hours, up and including nights and weekends, as needed.
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility; prior Director of Nursing (DNS) experience strongly preferred.
Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation
