2. Current certification in Basic Life Support training from the American Heart Association is required. Additional certifications may be required based on the assigned department or unit.
3. A valid, active license to practice as a RegisteredNurse (RN) in the state of Ohio is required. This must be a Multistate License (MSL). An MSL is required for departments that provide telenursing services or provide care to patients outside the state of Ohio.
4. Years of relevant experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience is preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Nurse Corps Officers may serve at any one of more than 250 Navy and medical facilities around the globe, from Hawaii to Japan, Germany to Guam and Washington, D.C., to Washington state. As a Navy Nurse, you could work at one of the highly acclaimed National Naval Medical Centers in Bethesda, MD, Portsmouth, VA or San Diego, CA.
