The RN is responsible to the Nurse Manager(s) and is responsible for coordinating care of residents using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts with residents, family, and other staff while maintaining standards of professional nursing. The Palms of Sebring is seeking an Registered Nurse to join our team. Utilize the nursing process by demonstrating the appropriate assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the resident's care. Assess the resident; collect and document the resident's current health status and medical history. The Plan of care is initiated on resident admission based on all aspects of the initial assessment. Collaborate with other staff to ensure the resident's well being. Documentation includes evidence of appropriate resident/family teaching, and the understanding of these instructions in noted in the medical record. Plan/Implement; set priorities for nursing action in a logical sequence according to resident's needs and formulate a plan of care by the appropriate selection of Nurse Practice Standards.
