What You'll Do
The Registrar will be responsible for serving as liaison between Finance, Nursing and Physician offices, obtaining accurate demographic information, record and verify all pertinent information from insurance companies in respect to a patient's authorization for services, eligibility and benefits.
Register patients for Family Practice Group, obtains accurate demographic and insurance information Handle main telephone lines for the Family Practice Group Provide patients with information required by federal mandates, i.e., Patient Rights and Responsibilities, and Advance Care Directives Obtain appropriate signatures and copies and/or scans all identification and healthcare coverage presented Communicate all information and financial responsibility to the patient/guarantor Complete registration forms, insurance forms, HMO referrals, processes medical record requests, and any other MFP office forms required by our patients Provide general non-clinical information regarding the Family Practice Group and gives necessary instructions prior to appointments Maintain confidentiality with all information Perform any and all other duties as assigned
