What Does A Regulatory Compliance Director Do At Aramark

* Compliance Leadership
* Lead and oversee all aspects of development, implementation, standardization and management of the Company’s DOT Trucking Compliance Programs, including CMV Files, DOT Driver Qualification Files, DOT Drug/Alcohol Programs, Roadside/Daily/Annual Vehicle Inspections, Hours of Service, etc.
* Develop and implement standardized processes for Driver Background Checks, Pre
* Employment Medical Screening & DOT Physicals, Previous Employer Release of Information, driver onboarding programs, etc. in coordination & conjunction with HR, Global Business Solutions, Global Risk Management, and Operations Personnel.
* Prepare and submit required Federal and State DOT Trucking Registrations, Licensing, Compliance Reports, etc.
* Work with Operations Personnel to implement and manage detailed, proactive technology solutions to drive compliance with Federal and State DOT Trucking regulations and Company requirements, with a strong emphasis on a Management Systems approach to compliance.
* Coordinate regular safety and compliance meetings with drivers and managers and ensure all relevant briefings are communicated in a timely fashion.
* Monitor driver and vehicle safety to ensure
* Conduct risk assessments and compliance audits to ensure effective and sustainable implementation of Regulatory and Company requirements across Aramark Business Sectors.
* Assist Global Risk Management, Global Security and HR with incident investigations and follow-up involving drivers or equipment as needed.
* Monitor and communicate upcoming changes to Federal & State DOT trucking regulations to ensure the Company is prepared for future compliance requirements.
* BS in Engineering, Environmental, Health & Safety, or related Science Discipline is preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered
* Minimum of 10 years direct experience directing DOT regulatory compliance & risk management programs including the oversight & administration of U
* S. DOT’s Drug & Alcohol Programs.
* Experience in large corporate structure is preferred.
* Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Federal and State DOT, Health & Safety Trucking Regulations, especially the DOT’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, Hazardous Materials Regulations, Drug & Alcohol Regulations (including Parts 40, 199, & 382), including a working knowledge of the DOT Letters of Interpretation and other Regulatory Guidance.
* Familiarity with FSMA or other food safety transportation requirements a plus.
* Strong leadership and organization, with the ability to direct and achieve priorities, goals, and strategies with limited supervision.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to appropriately target communication to intended audience, ranging from creating and leading Training Presentations for Operations and Management to interactions and meetings with a variety of Agency and Community stakeholders.
