As Transportation Compliance Manager, you drive DOT and Hazmat compliance, lead fleet safety initiatives, resolve audits, deliver regulatory training, investigate incidents, and partner with operations to ensure our private fleet's safety, performance, and continuous improvement across all compliance and reporting requirements
What You Will Do
* Lead all efforts to maintain CSA scores with FMCSA within good status for our internal private fleet.
* Lead the strategy and maintenance of our DOT employee and equipment files.
* File and renew Hazmat registrations, DOT Special Permits, and maintenance of financial and registration paperwork.
* Leading and executing issue resolution of ECAP/DOT Compliance audits for plants and terminals related to the fleet.
* Design and provide training to Fleet personnel on relevant FMSCA, PHMSA and Hazmat regulations. In addition, evaluate the existing equipment for improved ergonomic devices and accessories.
* Lead investigations into first aid, recordable injuries, violations, and vehicle accidents. Drive deep dive on root cause through 5-why analysis and RCA, identify corrective actions and follow up with resolution accountability to all parties. Review trend analysis for root causes to continue to improve program.
* Create and publish safety metrics and observation tracking with focus on re-trip inspection metrics. Partner with Fleet Operational & Maintenance Managers to drive forward improvement.
* Oversee and manage real-time DOT Compliance issues and partner with Fleet Operations Managers on pre-inspection checklists and issue resolution as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics Safety or related degree
* 15+ years' experience in within the transportation, warehousing or related field

* Strong verbal and written communication, leadership and training skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MANAGER, POLITICAL AFFAIRS:
The Manager, Political and External Affairs plays a critical role in advancing EEI s federal political engagement strategy by supporting the Senior Director across three core areas: PAC fundraising, industry event management, and political programming.
The Manager serves as the internal lead for PowerPAC fundraising, driving engagement from member companies. The Manager collaborates closely with the PAC Steering Committee and EEI leadership to meet annual fundraising goals, manage the PowerPAC budget, track performance, and ensure full compliance with all reporting requirements. The Manager also produces treasurer s reports, maintains donor and disbursement records, and provides background materials to support contribution decision-making.
Other important responsibilities of the Manager, Political Affairs:
Support the Senior Director in executing PowerPAC s fundraising strategy, helping to engage all eligible groups and member companies to meet annual fundraising goals.
Assist in developing PAC campaigns, strengthening relationships, and identifying opportunities to expand PAC participation and visibility.
Assist in managing the PowerPAC budget, including tracking fundraising totals, monitoring financial activity, preparing candidate disbursements, and supporting PAC Steering Committee operations.
Prepare treasurer s reports and write detailed memos summarizing political background information, candidate assessments, and related analysis.
Play a central role in planning and executing EEI s major political and industry events, ensuring operational excellence and strategic alignment with EEI s advocacy objectives.
Provide operational, financial, and compliance support to the Senior Director, including processing invoices; coordinating with the General Counsel s office on contracts; and preparing materials for the semiannual LD-203 contributions report.
Administer the charitable PAC match program, ensuring accuracy and timely processing on behalf of EEI employees who contribute to PowerPAC.
REQUIRED & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor s degree in Political Science, Communications, Public Policy, or a related field is required.
6-8 years of experience in PAC management, political fundraising, political operations, or planning high-level political or industry events is required.
Demonstrated ability to research, interpret, and analyze political trends and developments.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience drafting policy briefs, analytical reports, and background materials for senior leaders, elected officials, or policymakers.,
Strong technical and administrative skills, including proficiency with Office 365 and Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to learn internal accounting and budgeting systems.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to take initiative, manage competing priorities, and complete projects in a timely manner are essential.

COMPENSATION
The salary range for role is $80,000-125,000. Starting annual salary will be determined on individual qualifications. Purpose and Scope:
Responsible for the development and successful execution of regulatory strategies, plans and processes for assigned projects and/or products with considerable technical complexity and diversity requiring impact on internal decision making. Leads regulatory development in GRL or regional regulatory lead roles in the context of Development TAs and Core Teams and Regulatory Extended Teams for programs with considerable complexity requiring impact on internal and external decision making.
Applies understanding of regulatory requirements and trends into the development of aligned regulatory strategies.
Develops and contributes to the successful adoption and execution of appropriate regulatory strategies and processes, which ensure project and/or product programs meet established timelines and are aligned with Astellas' short and long-term business strategies and goals.
Accountable for the preparation and submission of technical documents to regulatory authorities for assigned projects/products. Compliance Program Support

Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, quality assurance, or regulatory affairs within a specialty or mail-order pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities
The Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Compliance Manager is the subject matter expert responsible for all aspects of operating a zone and initiatives to streamline the import process to maintain compliance with import regulations within the ICRS system. This role will be responsible for establishing control-related standards, strict adherence to CBP's ICRS requirements, and CTPAT Security requirements, including maintaining accurate physical/digital inventory records, and managing the flow of merchandise into and out of the zone to optimize duty deferral and operational efficiency. In addition, the manager will also be responsible for the FTZ systems (ICRS), including maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancements. The FTZ Compliance Manager will need to have deep institutional knowledge and understanding of the Foreign-Trade Zones Board regulations, and the Customs regulations, and how these apply to and impact the FTZ operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
FTZ Operational
* End-to-end management of zone processes, including zone transfers.
* Responsible for updating and maintaining FTZ Procedures Manual, Process Flows, and SOPs.
* Manage the execution and filing of all required CBP forms for merchandise admissions (CBPF 214) and removals for consumption (CBPF 3461/7501).
* Maintain FTZ files and retain FTZ records as required by law and regulations.

What you'll do
Achieve filing submissions production goals for filing projects, successfully utilizing filing workflow, checklists and teamwork processes. Prioritizing workload with assistance as needed.
Develop, refine, and process simple to moderate level compliance/cleanup product changes to meet regulatory, legal and business needs.
Achieve high quality filing documents minimizing internal review, carrier critique, and state objections.
Coordinate and provide complete information to process approvals for Implementation.
Provide basic assistance researching and interpreting product compliance or competitive issues as needed for participation in meetings with Product Managers.
Exhibit good interpersonal skills in working with teams and others throughout the organization and with carrier partners.
Demonstrates a moderate level of problem-solving ability relating to state issues and questions received from various sources (carrier, Legal, Implementation, UW, PM, etc.) with the assistance of other team members and managers as necessary.
Filings and Forms/Rule/Rate Creation and Updates
Research, interpret, and analyze state requirements for product filings.
Review and refine rate and rule page updates and Underwriting Guidelines, working with Actuarial and Underwriting as needed.
Determine appropriate language and refine forms for filings.
Research and prepare state-specific filing forms and exhibits.
Prepare all filing documents for SERFF.
Respond to BA requests and questions regarding system output changes that may be necessary for a filing update.
Serve as first point of contact and liaison with the carrier partners.
Handle state objections, communicate with the carrier in responding to the state, and recommend, as necessary, alternate strategies to the project-lead or compliance manager.
Peer-review other specialists' state filings for accuracy and correction.
Maintain Word and Excel documents, emails, and folders in appropriate, historical manner.
Serve as a SME for states or program or project.
Process filing approvals for Support Specialist to hand-off to Implementation Team.
Provide additional communication, as needed, supporting product change and release dates.

This position can be worked as a remote position within the United States.
Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable. For SOX compliant roles, responsible for designing, executing, and documenting internal controls where they have been identified as owners to prevent errors in financial reporting, processes, and business operations. Including attestation to the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting data, where applicable.

Requirements
Must have the ability to receive / maintain a favorable adjudicated Public Trust investigation (US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident for at least 3 years)
You have achieved a Bachelor's Degree + 5 years of relevant experience with hands-on cybersecurity or system security experience in order to understand system interdependencies, identifying risks, and implementing practical, compliant security controls.
Demonstrated expertise in vulnerability remediation, log analysis and risk assessment in order to monitor, analyze, prioritize, and resolve vulnerabilities to maintain system authority to operate (ATO) and ensure mission continuity.
Experience in patch management and verification to ensure systems remain protected against known threats and compliant with USGS's enterprise patching schedule.
Strong understanding of federal compliance frameworks (i.e., STIG) to support system hardening, compliance tracking, and audit preparedness throughout the system lifecycle.
Clear communication and cross team coordination as you must be comfortable working across distributed teams, communicating clearly with system owners, engineers, and federal stakeholders to explain risks, outline remediation steps, and coordinate implementation.

Responsibilities
Client Support. Serve as first point of contact to our clients by communicating with site managers via telephone and/or email to answer their questions regarding affordable housing compliance and to provide guidance/training to help them increase their knowledge of applicable requirements.
File Reviews. Electronically review the applicant/resident files via a web-based system to ensure adherence to applicable federal and state program regulations within contractually obligated times or request help should some circumstances prevent a timely review. Analyze potential risks to avoid compliance issues.
Communication. Provide thorough written communication to relay file deficiencies. Ensure important information is passed to those who need to know. Convey understanding of the comments and questions of others by listening effectively. Use verbal skills to support clients as previously listed. Qualifications
2 to 5 years of experience in affordable housing compliance to include certification auditing.
Must have a working knowledge of the requirements of the LIHTC and HUD programs.
Attention to detail, time management, and decision-making skills.

Vigilant in following up to ensure that developed plans addressing compliance issues and problems have been implemented.
