* Provides oversight and strategic direction to Tesoro’s pipeline safety programs, which may include the Integrity Management Program, Operations and Maintenance Manuals, Operator Qualification Program, and Public Awareness Program.
* Maintains and updates pipeline safety programs to ensure continuing compliance with regulations and industry standards
* Provides compliance support and technical expertise to regional pipeline operations personnel regarding pipeline safety regulations.
* Serves as a liaison with pipeline regulators and represents Tesoro during agency interactions and inspections.
* Conducts self-audits of logistics assets to ensure pipeline regulatory compliance and proper risk management methods are in place and functioning properly

* Conduct Regulatory Compliance Self
* Assessment account level reviews to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
* Independently assess business processes and make proactive recommendations to mitigate compliance risk and identify monitoring and reporting needs when business, system, or regulatory changes go into effect and/or as a result of findings in internal compliance reviews such as self-assessments.
* Provide independent analysis and quantitative reviews of system-generated calculations and statutorily required notifications regarding accounts for the RCSA process.
* Provide monthly and real-time updates to leadership regarding new risks identified.
* Develop a thorough understanding of GM Financial’s responsibilities for compliance to all applicable state and federal consumer laws.
* Develop a thorough understanding of GM Financial policies, procedures and provide suggestions to revise those documents in order to comply with legal requirements, new laws and recommendations.
* Maintain accurate, thorough records of communication and research.
* Update the logs and databases as required.
* Foster open communication and information sharing within department.
* Review all potential OFAC hits to confirm whether or not there is a true match and collaborate with applicable business unit to obtain necessary information.
* Participate and support senior specialists in state exams, as needed.
* Conduct internal compliance reviews as a result of state examinations and regulatory change.
* OTHER IMPORTANT DUTIES:

What Does A Regulatory Compliance Specialist Do At Evergreen Packaging, Inc.

* Act as an internal Regulatory Affairs resource.
* Assist in the preparation of Federal, State, and local compliance filings for Evergreen Packaging.
* Assist in the preparation, tracking, indexing and archival of information, amendments, annual reports, general correspondence, adverse event reporting, promotional materials, and support for any compliance dispute.
* Perform regulatory research including regulations, guidance documents and analyses of compliance.
* Act as principle Administrator of the Evergreen Compliance Management System to initiate, track and archive supplied substance compliance reviews and communication with suppliers on compliance matters; document extraction, gravimetric and microbiological tests and their analyses; communicate with customers in fulfillment of requests for compliance certifications, letters of guarantee, and analyses of compliance.
* Participate in scheduled vendor meetings regarding the operation and maintenance of the Compliance Management System.
* Advise and notify Evergreen’s management staff and customers of product compliance status with all applicable U.
* S. and international regulatory obligations for food contact packaging substances, materials and articles.
* Provide timely information that may be required for adverse events, field actions or other such activities.
* Assist Innovation and NPD, Marketing, and North America Operations QA/QC groups in determining that regulatory requirements are met.
* Provide support for currently marketed products, e.g., review engineering changes, labeling, promotional material, product changes and documentation for compliance and for changes requiring regulatory agency approval, pertaining to U.
* S. and international regulatory requirements.
* Provide backup support as an interface with regulatory authorities on regulatory and technical matters, as appropriate.
* Provide support to all Business units, as required.

* Ensure that all products distributed conform to regulated manufacturing and testing requirements
* Prepare documents (Reports, Manufacturing Batch Records, Packaging Batch Records, Standard Operating Procedures, etc.)
* Prepare or update TTS when necessary and disseminate information to trigger update of relevant documents
* Involved in solving production problems via execution of Root Cause Analysis.
* Prepare, conduct and assess effectiveness of GMP Training
* Conduct Level 1 Audits, QMS Gap Analysis and assist in conducting Level 2 Audits
* Responsible for efficient complaint handling system to enable product/ process improvements
* Act as Site Representative for processing effective and timely phase in of new artwork or change in artwork for printed packaging components.
* Review Packaging Material Specification and Drawing affected by artwork changes and change in packaging component specifications.

* Understand and support the achievement of Quality Department objectives, which are aligned with the plant goals
