* Researches, interprets and analyzes regulations for MSC.
* Identifiesrisks of all products in accordance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, IATA, DEA,IMDG, FAA, federal, state, local and international regulations.
* Analyzes risks based on regulations.
* Implements correct risk management techniques.
* Monitors techniques to ensure they are working properly.
* Coordinates and performs regulatory audits at various MSC locations.
* Communicates to all stakeholders in written and verbal communication on regulatory affairs.
* Provides guidance to ESH and MSC in the areas involving compliance.
* Understand and applies knowledge of computer databases to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Researches regulatory data and information utilizing the worldwide web and other available resources.
* Communicates trends or risks identified.
* Attends training and education seminars as appropriate to learn regulatory requirements.
* Coordinates all third party testing.

What Does A Regulatory Compliance Specialist Do At The Clorox Company

* Responsibilities to include, but not restricted to:
* Serve as a subject matter expert to internal and external stakeholders in support of the company's emerging dietary supplements business
* Review dietary supplement ingredients/formulations for compliance with applicable regulations
* Represent Global Stewardship (GS) for cross-functional work integrating the newly acquired Renew Life (RNL) business into Clorox infrastructure
* Lead GS review of RNL safety and compliance information supporting integration into Clorox
* Partner with cross-functional partners (e.g., Legal , Product Supply, etc.) to develop a corporate framework to ensure compliance of the company's dietary supplements
* Monitor and communicate emerging/changing dietary supplement regulations, interpret related information and summarize impact for other functions/leadership teams
* Partner with GS representative(s) to evaluate regulatory aspects of new business opportunities
* Required Qualifications
* In-depth working knowledge of FDA dietary supplement product regulations, guidance and policies
* A thorough understanding of the enforcement landscape (e.g. including trends/hotspots and state versus federal enforcement)
* Minimum of 5 years regulatory experience in FDA dietary supplements
* Minimum Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in a relevant technical field , Self-driven, but demonstrated success working in a cross-functional team environment
* Excellent command of the English language (oral, written) resulting in clear and concise communications
* Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated strategic thinking leading to successful business results
* Desired Qualifications
* Experience in regulation of dietary supplements (equivalent) outside of the U
* S. (e.g., Canada NHPs, European Food Supplements, etc.)
* Manufacturing QA/QC experience
* Experience with probiotics
* Working knowledge of FDA regulation of conventional foods

What Does A Regulatory Compliance Specialist Do At Stantec

* Strong understanding of state and federal environmental and safety regulatory agencies, including their jurisdiction and major regulations.
* Ability to develop effective written compliance programs for various federal and state regulatory drivers.
* Recent history of auditing compliance activities at a wide variety of operational facilities
* Hands-on implementation of regulatory compliance and permitting programs, such as: DTSC, AQMD, DOT, EPA, NPDES, SWPPP, SPCC, HMBP, and Local Agencies.
* Ability to understand client needs related to compliance management and to develop compliance management solutions.
* Must have experience coordinating or managing environmental permitting, assessment and/or compliance requirements as they pertain to public and private industrial facilities, including: fuel oil terminals; vehicle maintenance facilities; airports; and semiconductor, glass, and cement manufacturing facilities.
* Your Capabilities and Credentials:
* Bachelors or Master’s degree in civil, mechanical, or chemical engineering.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
* Advanced knowledge and use of business application software and technology experience.
* Excellent writing and report preparation skills.
* Light to moderate travel may be required.
* Valid Driver's license and good driving required.
