Position Overview
Own the end-to-end production of Prophet models supporting valuation and capital reporting across EMEA. Maintain robust controls, deliver on reporting deadlines (US GAAP - LDTI & Solvency II), and drive continuous improvement while developing a high performing team and partnering effectively with stakeholders across the business.

Requirements

* 5+ years of experience in actuarial modelling software such as Prophet and/or AXIS
* FSA required (life/annuity track or equivalent).
* Advanced written and verbal communication skills, whereby complex and technical information can be conveyed in a way that is meaningful by all stakeholders, including senior management
* Advanced interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders and disciplines across the company, including local offices, pricing, finance, treasury, valuation, investments, administration as well as external customers

The Senior Personal Trust Administration Officer Administers complex trust accounts in accordance with the terms of the trust document and all applicable laws.
What We're Looking For

A Brief Overview

Associate Actuary, Enterprise ALM and Capital will play a key supporting role within RGA's Enterprise ALM and Capital team, assisting in the development, analysis, and management of scenario-based capital and balance sheet frameworks. This position is designed for a collaborative, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a high-performance environment and is eager to contribute to enterprise-wide financial and risk management initiatives. This role offers the chance to learn about solvency-based regulatory frameworks and risk management, while gaining insight into RGA's global product portfolio.
Responsibilities
* Drive the production, analysis, and communication of scenario-based capital and balance sheet results for quarterly and ad hoc reporting on assigned projects, while supporting broader team deliverables.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of frameworks for capital and balance sheet calculations, approximations, forecasting, and roll forwards.
* Support regulatory reporting, earnings and solvency volatility analysis, scenario analysis, and financial planning activities.
* Aid in validating and managing projection data and models for various business segments.
* Coordinate with other RGA departments and offices to ensure accuracy, reliability, and timely completion of work products.
* Assist in the development and execution of project plans to meet departmental goals.
* Lead implementations of enhancements to actuarial modeling, data flows, process automation, and technical infrastructure.
* Establish documentation and compliance for audit and regulatory reviews.
* Maintain regular and predictable attendance and perform other duties as required.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Math, Finance, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field
* Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) accreditation
* 6+ years of actuarial experience in the life insurance industry
* Advanced PC and technical skills, including database applications (Access, Oracle, SQL, or equivalent technology) and Microsoft Excel
* Advanced oral and written communication skills
* Advanced interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with different disciplines, including valuation, risk management, investments, finance, accounting, and information technology
* Advanced investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of life, health, and annuity products
* Knowledge of GAAP, Statutory and Tax valuation, and financial reporting
* Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment
* Ability to simultaneously contribute to multiple projects and meet agreed deadlines
* Ability to balance detail with department goals and objectives
* Demonstrated ability to independently lead smaller projects and initiatives, while effectively supporting larger, cross-functional teams.
Preferred
* Previous reinsurance experience
* Experience with statutory and/or US GAAP valuation frameworks, including reserve calculations, assumption setting, and financial reporting
* Exposure to statutory capital reporting, such as RBC, BSCR, or Solvency II, with an understanding of regulatory expectations and governance.
* Experience collaborating with finance, investments, IT and other departments
* Proficient in data visualization tools like PowerBI or similar
* Proficient in using workflow tools like Alteryx, Power Automate, or similar
* Proficient in programming using SQL, R, Python or other programming languages
* Intermediate knowledge of actuarial modeling software
* Advanced project management skills

Compensation Range:
$114,750.00 - $175,450.00 Annual
Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
