Essential Functions of this role:
Shipping and Receiving clerks start a REISER career with a product training program at our office in Canton, MA and are welcomed into the shop. As a customer-focused technical product expert, the clerks will complete 200 or more shipments per day by processing and loading orders. We are looking for a career minded individual that is open to working 2nd shift hours (10:30am - 7:00pm) - with weekend overtime. If you are interested in Part time work, we have flexible hours within the 10:30am to 7:00pm range.
Requirements:
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Picking customer orders in stockroom of over 25,000 industrial food processing and packaging parts using RF Scanner and Prelude ERP
Packing and shipping customer orders (domestic and international)
Process and complete shipping for more than 200 packages daily
Manage inventory and cycle count weekly.
Assemble weekly parts crate for Canada division.
Supply processing and packaging shops with parts for customer machines for assembly and modifications
Continue to streamline work order procedures to be more effective in keeping up with demand.
Assist other teams with tasks as needed.
Must be willing to work some overtime.
Assist with some light IT issues.
Minimum Requirements:
One year of shipping and receiving or warehouse experience including experience with RF Scanners, experience using any ERP software is a plus (Prelude is preferred)
Domestic and international shipping experience.
Equipment experience with sit down forklifts, pallet jacks and electric pallet jacks.
Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts.
A High School Diploma will be required for this role.
Initiative, critical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision making, persistence, attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility, concern for others, teamwork, and leadership.
Ability to stand on feet all day and lift 70lbs (maximum) regularly.

What You'll Do
Build, assemble, and customize highly automated food packaging machinery and related ancillary equipment.
Manage machine build and customization projects, coordinating parts and materials with internal teams and taking ownership from start to completion.
Perform mechanical and electrical setup, troubleshooting, service, and repair of packaging equipment.
Assemble and disassemble complex machinery involving mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Work hands-on with pneumatics, electrical and mechanical controls, AC/DC motors, and high-voltage systems (240/480V).

What You Bring

Essential Functions of this role:
As a customer-focused technical product expert, the Technicians will apply highly developed troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical skills, and sound knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic control systems to install new packaging machinery equipment. Additional tasks include providing preventive maintenance and on-site equipment repair.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:

Essential Functions
Growth in our dairy products sector has led us to seek a creative initiative-taking and experienced Food Equipment Engineer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing equipment specifically for the food industry. What You'll Do
As Installation Manager, you will collaborate closely with regional service and sales teams to coordinate and oversee all equipment installations. Your critical role ensures timely and customer-satisfactory installations while also supporting and mentoring field service technicians. A strong understanding and experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and motor control circuitry in heavy machinery or automated equipment is essential. This leadership position requires a servant-leader approach, a commitment to team development, and will also act as an assistant to the Regional Service Manager.
Job Duties may include but are not limited to:
Manage the full installation lifecycle of customer food processing and packaging equipment from order through warranty completion with your Sales and Service teams.
Create and manage installation cases in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) for new equipment orders.
Schedule and coordinate all aspects of installation timelines, adjusting priorities as needed based on customer needs and resource availability.
Serve as the project lead to resolve technical and application challenges during installation, leveraging knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics, and motor control systems.
Provide daily support to technicians and maintain open lines of communication during customer installations that can extend into evenings and weekends.
Travel to customer locations to lead and support equipment installs by technicians.
Conduct post-installation follow-ups with customers to ensure complete satisfaction.
Act as a backup to the Regional Service Manager when needed.
Build strong relationships with customers through proactive communication and excellent customer service.
Support and enforce adherence to internal SOP's.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts within the Service Department.
Provide continuous feedback to the Technicians regarding performance.
This position requires periodic travel to customer locations in a defined geographical area that can include occasional evening and weekend travel.
Requirements:
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
3-5 years of project management experience or PMP certification.
Strong technical background in pneumatics, hydraulics, and motor control circuitry.
A customer-first mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Prior field service experience, preferably involving travel and on-site customer work.
Flexibility to travel and support installations during evenings or weekends as needed.
Food industry experience is a plus.

Essential Functions
Growth in our dairy products sector has led us to seek a creative initiative-taking and experienced Food Equipment Engineer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing equipment specifically for the food industry. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including food specialists, engineering, equipment suppliers, manufacturing, and customer service, to deliver innovative, efficient, and safe food processing solutions for the dairy industry.
Responsibilities:
Design and Development
Innovate new and improve existing equipment to expand opportunities within the dairy industry.
Develop detailed engineering specifications and drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks, Draftsight).
Generate design documentation including operating manuals, parts lists, and procedures.
Ensure all equipment designs comply with sanitary and regulatory standards.
Collaboration and Teamwork
Work closely with Reiser cheese and other food technologists, customer center, engineering, and customer service teams to understand technical requirements and ensure feasibility of designs.
Collaborate with our external customers technical teams to understand their needs for new equipment and understand how equipment may integrate with their lines.
Sourcing and Manufacturing
Be able to collaborate with our purchasing team to coordinate ordering and delivery of parts.

Prototype Testing & Validation
Oversee the testing of new prototypes and equipment in real-world food production environments.

Stay updated on new industry standards and regulatory changes.
Travel
Travel overnight roughly 10-20% to customer facilities in the United States and Canada, as required.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in designing equipment in the food industry or a related field.
Experience designing electro-mechanical machines using machine components such as motors, gearboxes, pneumatic cylinders, and bearings.
Direct experience with Solidworks for creating assemblies, parts, and detail drawings.
Proven record of successfully developing and delivering solutions that meet customer's needs.
Previous experience in dairy equipment or food equipment design is a plus but not required.
