Location: Overview:
The Complex Sales Manager is responsible for effectively soliciting and becoming familiar with all accounts in his/her market segments. He/she is also responsible for prospecting and closing on assigned accounts/territory to positively impact hotel revenues.
Salary Range ($70,000 - $75,000)
In addition to travel discounts at our hotels, Highgate offers competitive benefits, including three pricing tiers of medical coverage as well as Dental and Vision to full-time associates. Retirement 401k Program is open to both full-time and part- time staff who qualify.

Responsibilities:
Attend daily Highgate Hotel Business Review (HHBR) meeting.
Develop a full working knowledge of the operations of the hotel, including Food and Beverage, Guest Services and Reservations.
Develop a complete knowledge of company sales policies and SOP's, and ensure knowledge of and adherence to those policies by the sales team.
Meet or exceed set goals.
Operate the Sales Department within established sales expense budget.
Participate in required M.O.D. and Saturday office coverage as scheduled.
Initiate and follow up on leads.
Maintain and participate in an active sales solicitation program.
Monitor production of all top accounts and evaluate trends within your market.
Regularly contact existing accounts based on the tracing frequencies of the Account Coverage Program.
Meet or exceed sales solicitation call goals as assigned by the Director of Sales.
Invite clients to the hotel for entertainment, lunches, tours and site inspections.
Assist in implementing special promotions relating to direct sales segments, i.e. parties, sales blitzes, etc.
Assist in the preparation of required reports in a timely manner.
Be familiar with all Highgate Hotel sales policies and selling techniques with an emphasis on maximizing occupancy and Average Daily Rate (ADR).
Conduct a professional, thorough site inspection of the hotel with clients, exhibiting key features and benefits of the property.
Use your property's computerized sales management system to manage the hotel's business, including (but not limited to) generating reports, entering business, blocking space and building accounts.
Meet and greet onsite contacts.
Abide by Prime Selling Time (PST).
Develop networking opportunities through active participation in community and professional associations, activities and events.
Review meeting planner evaluations with the Director of Sales to ensure that issues receive follow-up.
Entertain clients.
Handle inquiries as part of Inquiry Day Program.
Qualifications:
College course work in related field helpful.
Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Must be skilled in Windows, Company approved spreadsheets and word processing.
Long hours sometimes required.
Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

The Associate Client Manager, a client interacting position, supports Advisors, Client Executives, Client Managers, and the client by completing various tasks common in day-to-day commercial insurance servicing. Prompt, accurate and professional handling of requests, both internally and directly for the client will ensure clients receive the best possible experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Retrieve electronic copy of endorsements, policies and other documents from carrier website and attach to the appropriate client in Epic.
Orders loss runs and experience modification worksheets from insurance carriers via email requests or retrieval from carrier websites.
Create and send pre-renewal, applications, and questionnaires to the team via the Indio platform.
Build proposal templates for the service team.
Obtain quotes for less complex, mono-line policies via carrier websites.
Issue and distribute to clients, new and renewal insurance certificates, and evidence of property to clients, including generating certificate holder lists at pre-renewal.
Order MVR as needed for underwriting purposes.
Issue auto ID cards.
Request policy changes from carriers, update the client's application, document appropriately in Epic, and follow up until changes are received.
Processes carrier endorsements and premium audits by verifying accuracy, invoicing, sending letters to clients and ensuring Epic data base was updated.
Process direct bill notices of cancellation by contacting carrier, determining if payment has been made, and notifying the Client Manager of outcome.
Respond to internal and external emails within 24 hours with an acknowledgement of receipt and a timeline for follow-up.
Review electronically scanned mail and process through proper activities.
Input various types of client data into Epic.
Check policies for accuracy, make note of any discrepancies and obtain direction from Client Manager on how to handle discrepancies.
Participate in training to enhance knowledge and skills and stay current with industry changes.
Attach and maintain all correspondence in Epic as required in department procedures.
Attend and participate in department meetings as well as other meetings as needed.
May handle traditional client servicing associated with full or reduced book of business.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Possession and maintenance of Property and Casualty Insurance license for the State of Colorado, or willingness to obtain.
Proactive participation in continuing education classes.

Principal Accountabilities:
Grows a self-sourced portfolio of commercial loans that is augmented with bank-generated leads. Minimum annual origination targets, optimal size of lending relationships, and overall portfolio size will vary and be provided to each loan officer based on the banker's area of expertise and assignment (e.g., National CRE, Middle Market C&I or Regional).
Manages calling program and pipeline reporting using Salesforce while maintaining client data as propriety company information.
Responsible for ensuring that clients' entire banking relationship needs are met by making introductions to our experts in private banking, treasury management, deposit products and other applicable bank products.
Fosters client relationships in a way that endears clients to bank, not limited individual(s), such as making introductions to broad team of associates, facilitating ownership and senior management client introductions, and maintaining up-to-date client information within the CRM.
Solicits, analyzes, structures, risk rates, presents for approval, and negotiates commercial loan requests.
Excels at delegating to and working with other professionals--portfolio managers, credit, closing, document preparation, loan operations, legal, and loan review-to maintain a portfolio, efficiently and effectively close loans, provide excellent client service, and develop other associates within the commercial banking and credit areas. Relying on others to complete tasks, responsible for management of portfolio to sound credit quality, overall portfolio return, client retention, and relationship banking.
Responsible for continual improvements to cost to close and cost to maintain portfolio by focusing efforts on sales and production while leveraging skills of other professionals to conduct other duties.
Mentors less experienced commercial banking associates through delegation of duties and oversight of work.
Maintains proficiency in Salesforce Client Relationship Management tool and nCino, the Bank's automated loan platform.
Ensure work premises constitutes a safe work environment that promotes positive bank image, including regular inspection for and remediation of any hazardous conditions; regular maintenance and cleaning of premises; adherence to all posting requirements in jurisdiction, including human resources and compliance postings; and provision of comfortable and appropriate space for associates to conduct banking business.
