The Healthcare Process Engineer collaborates with the Transformation Team to advance the Care Logistics mission. This involves aiding hospitals in overhauling their operations through a blend of mindset shifts, methodological approaches, and technological enhancements. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Engagement Functions
In partnership with the Executive Advisor and Solutions Engineer, drive the transformation effort for client engagements. Serve as the knowledge resource and detailed process expert for assigned client.
Participate in executive focus sessions and leader connect sessions, and present findings as needed.
Collaborate with hospital resources to implement Care Logistics' proven transformation methodology for assigned clients.
Assist with the documentation and analysis of current state processes using six sigma and lean methodologies.
Contribute to the design of future state processes and provide recommendations to achieve transformational results.
Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures as needed.
Provide input on application configuration to support future state recommendations.
Train client resources on process-related aspects of the training curriculum.
Audit client's delivery of education/training for accuracy and completeness.
Support testing events to ensure that technical solutions meet expected future state and SOP targets.
Provide support during go-live events, including operational and technical go-lives.
As a member of the Post Live Services team, assist clients who have implemented Care Logistics solutions by assessing hospital role responsibilities, processes, and technology through data analysis, observations, and interviews (visits may be onsite, remote, or a combination of both).
Assist in supporting software upgrades by updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), participating in testing sessions, delivering training events, and providing support during go-live events.
Conduct Post Live Visits to evaluate the impact of transformation efforts and make recommendations for further improvement. Assist in the development of transformation strategies that drive meaningful change.
Compile and analyze data to prepare executive presentations and reports presenting performance data. Ensure data accuracy and completeness, and present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Utilize data and analytics to evaluate client performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with the team to develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
Provide support to Care Logistics' leadership and sales teams in managing customer accounts, and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction. Assist in the development of account management strategies and ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues.
Product Management and Development
Collaborate with Product Management to ensure a continuous feedback loop of subject matter expertise. Share insights on industry trends, market challenges, and customer needs to guide product development.
Conduct market research and analyze data to identify emerging trends and opportunities. Prepare reports and presentations summarizing research findings and insights.
Work with Product Management and Sales teams to clarify market problems that potential clients are facing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that address customer needs.
Act as the voice of the customer in guiding Product Management and Development teams in design decisions for technology. Provide insights and feedback to ensure products meet customer needs and expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
1-3 years of successful experience in healthcare process improvement
PREFERRED
Healthcare business process redesign consulting experience preferred
Experience with Electronic Health Records, EHR, platforms including ADT, clinical and ordering processes preferred

**What we look for:**
+ 5+ years of related engineering experience in reliability, maintenance, or manufacturing, supported by a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering
Experience:
E-IV - Six (6) years of experience (four (4) with P.E.) with at least two (2) years of planning, protection, maintenance, and/or operations experience with transmission systems at an electric utility.
E-V - Eight (8) years of experience (six (6) with P.E.) with at least four (4) years of planning, protection, maintenance, and/or operations experience with transmission systems at an electric utility.
Equivalent Experience:
E-IV - At least ten (10) years of experience in transmission planning, protection, construction, maintenance, reliability, and/or operations with an electric utility.
E-V - At least twelve (12) years of experience in transmission planning, protection, construction, maintenance, reliability, and/or operations with an electric utility.
Licenses and Certifications: Valid Georgia Driver's License. EIT and PE are applicable but not required
Specialized Skills (e.g., typing, computers, software, tools and equipment uses, etc.): Proficient with: Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, graphics, and data manipulation; experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, large databases, and Microsoft Access. About the Role
How you will contribute
* Utilize Lean Standards in everyday assignments and analysis including: Line Balancing, PFEP, Value Stream Mapping, Process FMEA's, Control Plans, engineering studies, and resource requirement sheets.
* Provide leadership and support to Continuous Improvement initiatives at the plant level including; work studies to analyze work systems, developing standards and/or improvements to existing systems, providing input for the development of functional layouts that minimize space and material transit distance that provides flexibility for expansion, and utilize simulation software to analyze and/or improve work systems.
* Develop and update existing headcount analysis tools (direct and indirect labor) in order to analyze the impact of changes on business, and prepare summary reports for and in support of Operations, IT and Business Process Improvement initiatives.
* Prepare engineering studies to ensure that continuously changing operational processes are reflected in operational and strategic calculations.
* Measure standard time to proactively challenge and support the realization of reductions in standard time, while always striving to eliminate waste.
* Serve as the main point of contact for capacity, process improvement tasks, and standard time inquiries.
* Work closely with Operations, Account Management, Facilities and Project Management teams to develop and implement solutions to meet the requirements of the business.
* Manage the engineering function for assigned projects and activities including; engineering budget, processes, equipment, work standards and facilities.
* Make informed recommendations and decisions related to the purchase or lease of capital equipment including; forklifts, tooling, lift assists, generators, compressed air systems, racking, scrubbers, compactors, and miscellaneous items pertaining to specific projects.

Your Key Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or Operations Research or related fields with very strong background in engineering redesign and cost savings initiatives.
* Experience in solutions design within a logistics/warehousing/manufacturing facility environment
* Experience in supporting warehousing contracts with engineering expertise.
* Experience in packaging and/or innovation.
* Highly developed computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Visio or equivalent, and Project Management software are required. Knowledge of Excel should include pivot tables and familiarity with common formulas. Must be proficient in Access, with thorough knowledge of relational database creation, queries, forms, reports, macros, and functions.

Provide support during go-live events, including operational and technical go-lives.
As a member of the Post Live Services team, assist clients who have implemented Care Logistics solutions by assessing hospital role responsibilities, processes, and technology through data analysis, observations, and interviews (visits may be onsite, remote, or a combination of both).
Assist in supporting software upgrades by updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), participating in testing sessions, delivering training events, and providing support during go-live events.
Conduct Post Live Visits to evaluate the impact of transformation efforts and make recommendations for further improvement. Assist in the development of transformation strategies that drive meaningful change.
Compile and analyze data to prepare executive presentations and reports presenting performance data. Ensure data accuracy and completeness, and present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Utilize data and analytics to evaluate client performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with the team to develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
Provide support to Care Logistics' leadership and sales teams in managing customer accounts, and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction. Assist in the development of account management strategies and ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues.
Product Management and Development
Collaborate with Product Management to ensure a continuous feedback loop of subject matter expertise. Share insights on industry trends, market challenges, and customer needs to guide product development.
Conduct market research and analyze data to identify emerging trends and opportunities. Prepare reports and presentations summarizing research findings and insights.
Work with Product Management and Sales teams to clarify market problems that potential clients are facing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that address customer needs.
Act as the voice of the customer in guiding Product Management and Development teams in design decisions for technology. Provide insights and feedback to ensure products meet customer needs and expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
At least 1 year of successful experience in healthcare process improvement
PREFERRED
Healthcare business process redesign consulting experience preferred
Experience with Electronic Health Records, HER, platforms including ADT, clinical and ordering processes preferred
